Mobile home on the Baltic Sea
The Baltic Sea is a true holiday paradise for campers. The seemingly endless sandy beaches, the relatively calm sea and the family-friendly atmosphere of many campsites are very popular with guests. Travelling to the Baltic Sea in a motorhome or caravan is a holiday classic that has by no means lost its significance due to the trend towards mobile homes. Nevertheless, rental accommodation on the Baltic Sea seems to be enjoying growing popularity. More flexibility at the location and excellent facilities basically appeal to a large target group of campers.
Once regarded as a mobile home, the trend originated in the USA. There, numerous building restrictions could be circumvented with a "mobile" mobile home. In this country, the principle is similar, which is why the rental accommodation is ideal for camping and the infrastructure of a campsite. In Germany, however, the term "mobile home" has become an umbrella term for numerous types of rental accommodation. This includes classic bungalows, chalets and flats. Slightly modified, it can also include converted caravans, tree houses or safari or house tents. There are no limits to the creativity of campsites in this respect.
The Baltic Sea coast is particularly varied and is known for its beautiful beaches. The sea is less rough than the North Sea and the campsites are of a high standard. Numerous mobile homes on the sites are located in the immediate vicinity of the beaches, which are easily accessible. Depending on your preferences, the rental accommodation can be located in the centre of the vibrant life of the campsite or a little out of the way for those seeking peace and quiet. The charming coastal towns on the Baltic Sea are another reason to choose this destination. Even in the winter months, the inland sea has an incredible amount of charm.
As a rule, classic bungalows form the basis for mobile homes at the Baltic Sea. These can be booked in varying sizes. Families can opt for two to three bedrooms, while couples can opt for one bedroom, kitchen and bathroom. Guests can often look forward to a covered terrace, Wi-Fi and a comprehensive TV programme. The accommodation is well heated for the cold season.
A Baltic Sea holiday does not have to be limited to Germany. The coast of the inland sea also stretches across Denmark and Sweden. In both countries, there are excellent campsites with mobile homes right on the Baltic Sea coast. Campers are therefore spoilt for choice when it comes to destinations.
