It's simply amazing, I've never experienced such a place. Swimming in a natural lake is something entirely different from a pool, then there's the spa, the saunas, very modern large bathrooms... If you add a few outdoor fitness devices somewhere in the grass, I really can't think of anything better...

There are pitches available in sizes ranging from small to large, mostly covered with a lot of coarse gravel. The restrooms and sanitary facilities were adequate, but at times there was no paper or flush buttons were defective. Regarding cleanliness, there could certainly be more cleaning done. We did not utilize the wellness and sauna facilities, nor the restaurants or the supermarket. It’s a shame that so many small issues lower the rating of what could have been a good site otherwise. Unfortunately, even the very friendly staff could not change that. Additionally, it should be noted that many add-on fees are listed at checkout, such as utility charges, energy fees in addition to electricity costs, and the visitor tax. We will not be coming back.

The campground itself is beautifully laid out, the spa, the wellness area, and even the pond with lounging options are all very lovingly designed. The sanitary facilities were clean and tidy, and we had no waiting times during our stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful in all areas. We particularly want to praise the restaurant with the serving staff and the chefs. At night, the campground is quiet, and one can relax well. The only downside for us is that each guest can park their vehicle on the site as they wish. The 3-meter distance does not need to be observed according to the owner. This was new for us, but after consulting with the ADAC, it is so, although it is not recommended. So overall, a very beautiful place, but those who prefer distance from neighbors should decide for themselves whether to turn a blind eye.

Top-class wellness. Two large swimming pools (indoor and outdoor), a lovingly designed swimming pond, and a large sauna landscape offer the full wellness enjoyment. Culinary wellness is also taken care of. At Maxwirt, there are very delicious regional dishes. The recreational offerings outside the campsite are also very good. The reception provides many good tips for cycling and hiking tours. We will definitely come back.

Super campsite. Very clean and super organized. Everything was perfect, from the space to the saunas and thermal baths.

Positive: clean, beautiful site, very nice natural swimming lake. Disturbing: many pigeons, high-voltage power line buzzing constantly over the site. Negative: very cramped sanitary buildings, only three toilets and three showers, you sometimes have to wait. Selection in the grocery store on site is far too limited, no fresh fruit and vegetables. Unfortunately, some dog owners do not use bags and do not clean up after their dogs. For us, it’s not a great place...
