We were there for two nights to make a detour to the Astrid Lindgren World during our trip through southern Sweden. There was a lot going on at the site. Since it was vacation time, many families with children were there. The site is okay for one/two nights. However, the cleanliness of the sanitary facilities in the upper part of the site left much to be desired. We only saw someone cleaning there once during our stay. Especially in high season, this should actually happen twice a day. We would not spend a longer holiday at this site.

We spent 3 nights in one of the stugas. Wonderful location by the lake, great restaurant with delicious pizzas, short distances to Katthult, Bullerby, and the Virum Elk Park. The sanitary facilities are a bit outdated, but were always okay.

We stayed here for 10 days, which is probably rather unusual. There is a lot of comings and goings, but it wasn't negatively noticeable at our pitch. The showers in the upper building are a bit dated and weren't always very clean. Otherwise, there are many amenities here (restaurant, ice cream stand, sauna) and the proximity to Astrid Lindgren's World, Katthult, and Bullerby are big plus points!

For me, one of the most beautiful (location) spots on our trip to Sweden. We were lucky to get a pitch right by the water. Actually, we just wanted to stay one night, but it turned into 4 nights. Great water for swimming, clean sanitation facilities, nice playground for the kids, and a perfect base for recreational activities. You can also fish for free on the lake. There is a sauna by the lake, you can rent boats and bicycles, and there is a small shop for necessary groceries. Large supermarkets are also nearby. In the evenings, you can also enjoy good pizza there. Highly recommended at any time.

15 min by bike to Vimmerby. Service good - unfortunately public beach and access to the 24-hour supermarket - which is also used from outside around the clock - better to choose the spots further up or those right by the lake (if free)
