Our summary of our trip to the North Sea.... It was really good 😌 We even tried the sauna. Soooo good 🤩🧖♂️ Electricity and water included, but the water for washing up wasn't boiling hot (solar, tank). Everything else is automated. No registration needed if you've entered all the data online beforehand. Consequently, no cancellation is required either. The mini-market is completely self-service and can be paid with an EC card. Great playgrounds, super well maintained, the grass is a dream.... However, the ground was very hard. With screws, it's fine, but it does require a little effort. Two sanitary buildings, each with 5 washing-up options. Fenced dog area on the site, also for camping spots, leash required. Superb area for cycling, right by the dike.... Once you go up the stairs, you're already at the World Heritage Wadden Sea. Fish and ice cream trucks come to the campsite. So all in all, an absolute recommendation.

A great place. Very friendly staff. Everything is super clean. The only downside is the numerous pigeons in the trees at the front, which are quite bothersome as they make a mess everywhere. We will definitely come back.

A very clean and well-kept site, with sanitary facilities that are beyond reproach. The reception staff is very friendly and helpful, and comments are received with kindness. The site is very quiet, and the location right by the dyke is fantastic. If you love the sea, this is the place to be.

Nestled in an idyllic landscape of meadows and fields and separated from the North Sea only by the dyke, Camping am Deich - Nordsee particularly appeals to those seeking peace and quiet. The offer is complemented by family-friendly leisure activities and various wellness facilities.
The seasonally open Camping am Deich - Nordsee directly on the Ems estuary offers a successful combination of sports and leisure facilities as well as a relaxing atmosphere in the midst of the lush green North German marshland. The family-friendly campsite extends over seven hectares and comprises 290 pitches for guests, 275 of which are parcelled out. Depending on the model, campers have between 90 and 120 square metres of space at their disposal. In addition to the standard pitches equipped with electricity, Camping am Deich - Nordsee also offers comfort pitches, which also have fresh water and waste water connections. The shower blocks on the holiday site are of a high standard and are particularly clean. Family-friendly washrooms with nappy-changing facilities and baby baths as well as cooking facilities are also located in the multifunctional buildings. For those who prefer not to cook, there is the Erbsenbinder restaurant, which uses mainly regional produce to create delicious dishes. The wellness area invites you to relax. This includes a relaxation area, a Finnish sauna and a saunarium as well as a massage room. In the children's world, romping around instead of relaxing is on the programme: there are playgrounds both indoors and outdoors. And of course your four-legged friend doesn't have to stay at home, but can also come with you on holiday to the inviting Camping am Deich - Nordsee holiday complex.
