Naturcamping Spitzenort

The sanitary facilities are clean, located directly by the lake, and well organized. There are not too many dogs on the site, and it was quite peaceful despite being fully booked. There’s dedicated morning swim time for lap swimmers, and boat rental nearby.

We have repeatedly been at the camper site because nature camping is very important to us. Quiet, nature, relaxation..... who doesn’t need that? Unfortunately, this is hardly possible anymore; respect and consideration have become foreign words. Holidays are used for drinking parties with very loud conversations lasting into the night, families think they are alone in the world. Quiet times, what is that?? Sadly, this is increasing at various places more and more. It gives the impression that we only have the "Children" generation, for whom everything must be done. An appeal to the operators: "There is another generation of "Adults" who seek and need peace. And if that cannot be found at a nature camping site, then where? How about "Adults only"; already successfully practiced abroad!!!

Very clean, quiet, definitely belongs to my top 5.

We were standing in May behind the entrance on the right at the motorhome pitches. Great! Super sanitary facilities with bathrooms instead of barracks showers, although almost fully booked it was very quiet, friendly staff at the reception, restaurant was good average - there is absolutely nothing to complain about.

We were traveling with the camper and stayed only 1 night. The site was very good and very quiet. The sanitary facilities were modern and clean.

Beautiful place, we are very satisfied. Friendly reception, brought to the spot by the guide. Sanitary facilities are new and clean. Direct access to Lake Plön. Water needs to be fetched, depending on the location you have to walk a few meters to the disposal. Playground available, sauna can be booked for private use - very nice and spacious. Restaurant cooks fresh, reservation recommended. Small shop on site. About 3 km to Plön city center. No permanent campers.

A beautiful campsite right by the lake, The restaurant was full the whole time, making a spontaneous visit impossible. There is an option to order pizza at the back door of the restaurant and pick it up. The sanitary facilities we used were always clean, even though the site was well frequented. Dogs are welcomed according to the site's management, and there were many dogs present. Unfortunately, the regulations are somewhat general. There is no distinction made between trained dogs with a training certificate and other furry companions. Dogs must be kept on a short leash, which is not an issue. We did not find a dog beach, and the dog area does not deserve the name due to the facilities and size. We were therefore a bit disappointed and cannot recommend this site for dog owners.

We were at Spitzenort for a long weekend. The place is beautifully quiet, surrounded by water on three sides. From here, you can take nice bike tours. In five minutes you can reach Plön by bike. The staff is very friendly. We will come back, thank you very much.
