Arena Medulin Campsite

The only good thing was the location, everything else was very difficult to get used to. No fresh water supply for campers. No toilet emptying in the sanitation facilities.

A great cozy place, with very large pitches and very flexible booking options. We didn't check in online, but it wasn't a problem at all, everything went very quickly and smoothly. We were given our desired pitch without any issues. The sanitary facilities are not the newest, there was always a queue in front of the showers, but I was on vacation and had time. Everything was very clean and there was almost always staff on site. Unfortunately, it was quite loud at night from the disco, which is not at the campsite. We knew this in advance. Therefore, it wasn't so bad. In case of emergency, we always have earplugs with us. Especially for the beautiful location, the campsite is highly recommended, on one side of the island you can almost always surf, while on the other side you can beautifully paddle on glassy water with the sup. We found the price-quality ratio really great.

Beautiful campsite with natural beach. At least in the back part, it is not too crowded. The sanitary facilities are somewhat old. However, the plots are very spacious. Incredibly loud at night. I thought the reviews were exaggerated - no, they are not. No place for families.

The location is very beautiful, the showers are not really clean, I don’t know if the beach is 1.5 meters wide if you can call it a beach and it’s not clean, the road runs exactly between the beach and the camping spots, you should drive slowly regardless of what drives by is too fast for small children, the spots on the sea side should cost a maximum of 15.00 euros, it is unthinkable to sleep before 4:00 in the morning, the bar on the beach completely fills this place with noise, you can also complain after it gets louder, it seems like the speakers are next to the campers, it’s a shame, it could otherwise be very beautiful, for us it’s the first and last time we went there, I want to relax and not come home broken.

We have already vacationed at the campsite for the second time. We had the mobile home by the sea. This year we were pleased that the shower, blinds and stove were new. The equipment of the mobile homes is very simple. They are located at the back of the island under ancient pines, where it is considerably quieter than at the front of the campsite. We were always treated very kindly at the reception. A hairdryer was delivered within 10 minutes. The dining options at the campsite are good. The prices are okay. We felt very comfortable again and will definitely come back. The only negative point was the beach bar on Friday and Saturday. The music and party noise could be heard all the way to the back of the island until early four in the morning. I solved the problem with earplugs, otherwise I wouldn’t have been able to sleep a wink.

A large square with many trees and also spots with a sea view. There is a nice sandy beach nearby with very shallow water. The loungers all cost extra money. The receptionist claimed on inquiry that all loungers were free. At check-in, they kept the passports at the reception, which we found absolutely unacceptable. Since we decided to stay only for one night, they told us that we could pay until 6 PM. When we wanted to pay around 5:45 PM, they told us that they wouldn't be able to manage it today. We didn't get our passports back either. Checking out the next day delayed our further trip. This procedure is a no go.

Catastrophic disco sound all night long at the site. I cannot understand how such a recommendation by the ADAC could come about. Unfortunately not recommendable. At check-in, despite a reservation with a dog, there is no consideration given during the allocation, and one has to move, despite proper registration. Here, tourism shows its negative side.

Very nice campsite, BUT!!! From Friday, sometimes until Sunday music at a volume that makes you feel like you're in a disco, until 5 in the morning! We then requested another pitch, on the island, thought it would be better there, unfortunately not. Sleep was out of the question! The sanitary facilities are in great need of renovation! Hygiene leaves much to be desired, just mopping the floor is not enough. Shopping opportunities are sufficiently available. Good access to the sea and beautiful beaches. It's a shame that the camper is not considered important enough here. Peace and relaxation look different.
