DCU-Camping Gjerrild Strand

Wonderful campsite, well-maintained site with spacious, nicely demarcated pitches. Electricity available on site, and water nearby. Modern washrooms with family bathrooms. This is our second time here and we will definitely come back.

This place, beautifully located on a side street, has rightly earned our and the ADAC rating. Everything is clean, the sanitary facilities, kitchen, common room, and fish processing area are sterile and germ-free, friendly service upon arrival in pouring rain, perfect supply and disposal for our van, everything for the dog is there, beautiful Baltic Sea beach, the only drawback was - as at every campsite - the morning round of the site manager with the wheel loader. Otherwise, only the sound of the Baltic Sea. There are several different playgrounds for children. There are large pedal cars for kids, parents and children can enjoy mini-golf, and for the adults, there is a garden chess game. In summer, there is an outdoor swimming pool available on site. And once again, all facilities are in very well-kept condition. Even the kiosk on the site still offered fresh rolls and delicious cakes at the end of the season, as well as things that campers forget on their holiday in Denmark. The departure was just as warm-hearted. We would gladly come back.
