Everything is very uncomplicated and nicely arranged. Everything is very clean. During our stay in mid-July, it was quite chilly, and the sauna in the evenings was a dream. The swimming pond is beautifully designed, although quite cold; however, if it had been hot, it would have been a nice refreshing experience. What slightly bothered us was that everything now has to be paid for and ordered with a card and online; for us, that's not a problem, but there are older people who might not appreciate this. Additionally, there is no restaurant on-site, and Husum is about 7 km away. There is a snack truck outside the campsite a few times a week, but it serves only fast food. The site is also well-equipped for children. Our grandchildren would have certainly enjoyed it.

The campsite has a pleasant size and offers something for everyone... families, couples, dog owners, and campers looking for some peace. There is a relaxed atmosphere, and the site is lovingly arranged. We will gladly return.

Everything is modern and clean! Well organized and the sanitary facilities are well thought out. You can buy necessities at the small kiosk.

The facility, including the sanitary amenities, is clean and very attractive. The swimming pond is beautifully designed, just like the pitches overall. Thanks to the hedges and trees, each pitch has its own privacy. For us, the campsite was too far away from Husum, which is why it is more recommended for caravans. In bad weather, you are more mobile with a car than with a motorhome and bicycle. We rented a car to explore the area. For that, we were charged 6 € per day for a car parking spot. We would like to give 5 stars because the staff was super friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately, due to the extreme unfriendliness of a single receptionist, we have to deduct one star.

Since 2010, we have been coming to Simonsberg almost every year, sometimes for a week or a month, and even three times for up to 10 weeks. We felt like regular guests, always greeted warmly. However, with the change of management and staff, everything has fundamentally changed. We have never been received as unfriendly and coldly as we were in June 2026. We arrived two hours early, which can occasionally happen on a long journey. We were sent back and told to wait for two hours in a parking lot 800 m away, or to pay 20.00 €, which we eventually did to access the free pitch. This is a rip-off! Especially since we had already paid for the pitch months in advance. Moreover, cleanliness is also lacking. Cleaning was done in the morning between 6:30 and 8:30, blocking half of the areas during peak operating hours.

TOP spot, very large and clean pitches, solid grass ground, super fast and free Wi-Fi at 250 MBit/s, everything digital without cash, barrier scans the license plate, swimming pool.

The campsite is simply fantastic. The facility, the sanitary amenities, everything is clean and orderly. The swimming pool is a dream. Unfortunately, there is a lack of a small food service on the site. This is the only downside. In the morning, a breakfast option would be nice, in the afternoon a piece of cake with coffee, or small meals in the evening. Something like potato salad with sausage or a meatball, fries to go or a portion to grill. Nothing too fancy. We spoke with many campers. In fact, all the women complained about the lack of food service. Nobody wants to drive for kilometers.

The campsite is very beautiful. The hygiene facilities are very neat and clean; everything was thought of, from shelves to clothes hooks. The pitches and grassy areas are all well-maintained. Those traveling with children will have a lot of fun here, as there are many different playgrounds. Particularly noteworthy is the natural swimming pond, which is also very well-kept. Safety has also been considered; access to the swimming pond is only possible by entering a code, preventing small children from swimming without supervision. It is clear that the place is managed with a lot of love. We had wonderful days.
