FabulousItaly has been the holiday destination of choice for Germans for decades. And dolce vita, freedom and Italian sunshine are best enjoyed on a campsite. Mobile homes are now also available here as an alternative to tents and caravans. Similar to a holiday flat, they are available all year round, are spacious and comfortably equipped and are therefore also ideal for family holidays. The campsite facilities can of course also be used.
Italy is a favourite destination for many campers and the country can look back on an impressive history in this respect. Mountainous South Tyrol, Lake Garda**, which is popular with water sports enthusiasts, the magnificent Adriatic coast or the island world of Sicily - Italy is so diverse and has a multitude of wonderful campsites**.** While motorhomes or caravans have long been the ideal way to spend a holiday in Italy, more and more camping enthusiasts are turning their attention to mobile homes**.** The rental accommodation** in various sizes combines a high degree of flexibility and privacy with the advantages of a campsite.
Italy's diversity is one of the main reasons for choosing this country in southern Europe. In the north, there is the alpine landscape and the lakes of northern Italy, a little further south the large metropolises of Turin and Milan and the magnificent Adriatic coast around Venice. Tuscany, Rome and the Italian islands of Sardinia and Sicily are just as popular in central and southern Italy as the northern regions. Another argument are the countless campsites with excellent infrastructure, beautiful beaches and a comprehensive range of services. In addition to pitches for motorhomes and caravans, they offer a large number of rental accommodations, which vary in size and equipment on request.
This is of course very dependent on the region, but the cultural diversity of the country makes it possible to visit the numerous museums. Florence, Milan, the capital Rome and Venice in particular can score points with interested campers in this respect. Italy's small, picturesque towns all have their own charm. Strolling around and trying out the local delicacies can be an enrichment for any holiday. The beaches - they may not be a cultural asset, but they characterise Italy in particular. Lapped by the Adriatic or the Mediterranean , you can spend wonderful hours on holiday here.
Campers can't really go wrong if they opt for a mobile home. As a couple, you can opt for a chalet with a sea view, one bedroom plus bathroom and terrace. Families, on the other hand, choose a bungalow with several bedrooms, a large living area with kitchen and a bathroom. If you need a little more creativity, you could stay in a rental tent or share a tree house with your children.
