Beautiful, quiet campsite We were at this campsite for the first time. The tranquility is the first thing to mention. The showers and toilets are clean. Bread and rolls are available at the campsite, shopping can be done at the nearby supermarket. You can walk to the town of Bolsena. I was surprised by the waste disposal. Every morning from 8:30 to 10:30, waste could be handed in. A man took the waste and sorted it. Unfortunately, the beach is very small.

What a beautiful place! We are traveling in October 23 and almost all campsites at Lake Bolsena are closed, this one is still open until 8.10. The campsite offers plenty of options for large and small mobile homes/caravans. In the front area, there are many dense plane trees recommended for the hot summer months, but we prefer to stay further back on the large meadow with lots of sun and shade at 28°C during the day and 12°C at night. The sanitation facilities are clean and good, there is inexpensive and good bread in the morning, everything else has already closed. The lake is wonderfully refreshing and clear, the small beach offers black lava sand. The access road is indeed a bit narrow, but it fits. The access to the garbage is tied to certain times, help is provided for sorting. I haven’t discovered any Wi-Fi here, with O2/D-network we roam at TIM with about 6-10 MBit/s. Would love to come back.

The site is located directly by the lake, with very clean sanitary facilities. Cars must be parked separately in the parking lot. The restaurant on site is really good and affordable. The access to the campsite (about 250 m) is quite narrow and has a slight curve. It is advisable to manage it in pairs if you have a caravan hooked up, meaning one person should go ahead and assess the situation.

The restaurant is great and the staff is friendly. The site is manageable and also suitable for children. The pool is small, but because the lake is right next to it and is very clean and shallow, the children rarely used the pool. The nearby surf school (near Lido campsite about 5 minutes walk) offers courses at affordable prices. We have now been to this site for the 6th time and always come back willingly. The only downside is the occasionally barking dogs in the neighborhood that bark half the night.

Catering and sanitary facilities were in good condition, only the access to the site is miserable.
