We stayed there on the night of July 25-26, 2026. The site is well-kept and beautifully located, but the disposal area was full. In the evening, a wasp nest in the tree directly next to our pitch was sprayed with insecticide – without any prior warning, at dusk, while we were on site. Our campervan with the pop-up roof was less than a meter away, and my partner was sitting inside. We had expressly opposed this in two conversations prior and were assured that there would be no spraying. The label indicates a spraying distance of four meters; the management confirmed in writing that they sprayed from a maximum distance of one meter. Positive: The staff member in the restaurant reacted immediately and arranged another pitch for us that evening. There was no apology from the management. Anyone traveling with children or sensitive individuals should be aware of this.

A wonderful campsite, located right by the river and the valley station of the Hirzer cable car. The site is very beautiful and lovingly landscaped, the sanitary facilities are new, very nice and very clean! The pool (indoor + outdoor) is not only nice for children, but a lovely place to relax after a hike. There is a small playground for children, a table tennis table, and a foosball table.
