Good location, quiet, beach, surroundings, staff very friendly and helpful Bad: upon arrival only a plan in hand, this is your spot, although the first 2 rows are booked and reserved, we had the back in full shade. Almost everything already included, including the dive school, which is one of the reasons we booked there. Supermarket, completely overpriced.

We were there this year for the second time and compared to the first time, a lot has happened on the site. The resting area has been completely rebuilt and a washhouse has been completely redone. In the back area, many spots have been completely newly created, an absolutely wonderful place that offers something for everyone just by its size. We will definitely come back next year.

Large but very well-maintained campsite with oversized pitches, so that almost any size of caravan along with vehicle can easily find a place. Nearly all pitches are well shaded by the many cork oaks. The beach is never overcrowded, after 10 meters of stones comes a strip of sand about 30 meters wide that gently slopes, allowing even children (who can swim) to play safely in the water. The water is, typically Croatian, crystal clear or turquoise blue. Boat traffic is manageable and does not disturb bathers - at least during our stay in early September it did not. The town of Novalja is reachable on foot, away from motorized traffic (1 km). The washrooms vary in age, are equipped accordingly, but always clean. The only downside from our perspective was that in case of early departure, 25 € was charged per day.

Everything top We didn't hear the often-mentioned nearby party beach at all, yes occasionally we heard the bass but not too loud ... If you travel with a dog you might have to walk a bit to reach one of the two very beautiful dog beaches, but that didn't bother us much either.

Basically a very nice place, sanitary facilities clean, constantly being cleaned, but there are sometimes problems with the water, it sometimes comes out very hot from the shower - so test it first - otherwise you burn yourself, What is incredibly annoying is the noise level from the party beach - from 10:00 PM to 5:00 AM the bass beats can be heard. Similarly, sometimes annoying teenagers who drive back and forth with their (really very loud) scooters or the partying campers (there were a lot of Slovenians here who behaved quite badly). We have been here several times, but not in June/July, but we have never experienced it this badly. Very unfortunate!

On its own, a nice campsite, but upon closer inspection, there isn't much left of a good review on some points. 1. Despite the dog beach and dog area, the place is not really dog-friendly - the off-leash area with agility obstacles is in the shade, but everything is on sharp-edged stones. 2. There is no real opportunity to walk dogs in the shade - so nothing remains except to have the dogs do their business at the edges of the plots (the forested area was made tree-free and gravelled for new plots in 2024/2025). 3. Sanitary facilities are clean, but hot water is rarely available - keyword dishwashing with cold water plus defective chemical toilet disposal. Everything is charged to non-Croats/Slovenes (trailer, additional tent on one's own plot). 4. Fireworks are not up to date - keyword environmental protection.

Beautiful location and harmoniously integrated into an oak forest. Beautiful large open spaces and also plots for every taste. We have already enjoyed the peace in the 600 area multiple times on different plots. The dog beach areas could be a bit larger to remain conflict-free with non-dog owners. There is a dog running area with agility equipment near the reception and the petting zoo. We always enjoyed using that. Unfortunately, one often has to look for filled dog waste bag stations. At €12/dog per day, I find that unacceptable. Some of the toilet and shower houses (9 & 10) need to be renovated sooner or later. The outdated design is the least of the problems. The fact that there is hardly any water pressure and the shower heads are calcified for years, distributing only thin sprinklers haphazardly, bothers us much more.

Very nice and well-kept CP. Sanitary facilities (10) are a bit dated, but clean. Unfortunately, there is no hot water for showering! It’s lukewarm. Dog beaches are great, unfortunately, they are also liked by non-dog owners who could very well go to another beach 1.5 km away. Staff are usually friendly. Unfortunately, from mid-September onward, only rolls are available in the supermarket, the small stands are closed, and it’s a long walk from the 600 area to the supermarket. Restaurant Plaza, as well as the pizzeria, have very good food. Staff in the pizzeria are completely uninterested/unfriendly. At the Plaza, the staff is very friendly and quick.

Right on a long, fine sandy beach on the island of Pag, families and sports enthusiasts can enjoy an unforgettable holiday with a relaxed flair at Camping Straško. The youngest guests can look forward to a varied entertainment programme in the mini club, ranging from sports competitions and art workshops to a mini disco. Adults can look forward to numerous group courses such as Pilates or aerobics as well as fitness rooms and numerous sports fields.
If you are looking for the perfect holiday resort for a relaxing holiday with the whole family on the island of Pag, then Camping Straško near Novalja is the place for you. The spacious campsite with 1,478 pitches is located on a 57-hectare site, which is divided by natural stone walls and hedges. All pitches are up to 160 square metres in size and have electricity, fresh water and waste water connections as well as satellite TV. There is also a choice of fully furnished glamping tents with space for up to six people. Guests can obtain information about excursions and services at the Straško information centre directly on the promenade. The campsite's amenities also include a shopping area with cosy bistros, grocery shops and a beauty salon. The campsite grounds border directly on the 2 km long private beach. With its fine sand, it is one of the most beautiful stretches of coastline on the island of Pag. Due to the excellent water quality, it has been awarded the coveted Blue Flag. The pool complex right by the sea is also a great place to cool off. There are three pools here, with the one with shallow water particularly appealing to the youngest guests. The mini club is located right next to the aqua park. Friendly entertainers invite the little ones to do arts and crafts, attend music workshops or take part in the mini disco. Here, the children are lovingly looked after while their parents take part in yoga or Pilates classes or use the other sports facilities such as the fitness centre, beach volleyball, tennis or badminton courts.
Guests can book excursions into Croatia's fascinating nature at the Straško information centre. One of the destinations is the Plitvice Lakes National Park, for example, which offers numerous hiking trails. The natural wonders of the park include huge waterfalls, mystical caves and the limestone gorge of the Lower Lakes. The island of Pag itself also offers numerous opportunities for hiking. From the nearby town of Novalja, for example, you can take the 20 kilometre Vodice trail along the coast to the town of Pag. South of Novalja, active travellers pass the bird reserve, home to rare migratory birds. For gourmets, it is worth travelling to Kolan, where a show dairy invites you to taste the famous Pag cheese.
