Camping Del Garda

We are surprised by the previous review (1*)! The campsite is well-maintained, the plots are spacious, and the sanitary facilities are clean and tidy. In the toilets (both seated toilets and Italian squat toilets), there was even toilet paper, which is not self-evident in Italy. The showers were more than acceptable (with hot water and decent pressure). The staff is friendly, both at the reception and on the grounds themselves. Due to the fact that we were there very early in the season, the pools were not yet in operation, but it would have been too cold for swimming anyway. The shop and the restaurant (not tested because we strolled into town) were already open, which we experienced differently a few days ago further south. The price currently (March) is a bargain! We are more than satisfied.

So I can't recommend this place to anyone! The restrooms are unacceptable! Endless noise! And until late in the evening, cars are still driving around here! What I can highlight about this place is the beautiful location, but that’s about it! We won’t be coming back here!

The location of the site is optimal. The pitches are generously sized. They are flat, beautifully planted with trees, and still usable without problems even with tall motorhomes (ours is 3.20m). We had a wonderful view of the lake, and to say it right away, the direct lake access is truly wonderful. In general, it was noticeable that everything was perfectly organized and well-maintained and clean. Supply and disposal were well arranged, practical, and clean/functionally. The same applies to the sanitary facilities. It was quiet, and apart from the occasional music from the children's discos at this and the next site, there was hardly anything to hear. However, this may also be due to the fact that we were there right after the Bavarian Pentecost holidays. The two pool facilities looked good and well-maintained, but we only used the lake for swimming and were lounging on the piers by the beach. I can highly recommend the beach bar right by the lake at the back pool facility of the campsite. You can also eat well there, and the view is sensational. We would be happy to come back.

Nice place with a good location. Unfortunately, the condition of the sanitary facilities makes it not so great. I don't want to go to the toilet while standing. There are just 2 toilets in one washroom, and one of them was missing the seat. For 40 euros per night, you can expect more. There are also no shelves in the shower. There is an urgent need for improvement.

We have been visiting the site for many years. The location by the lake is very good, and we like the abundant greenery. Unfortunately, the sanitary facilities are far too small and very outdated. There is only one newer sanitary facility, but many mobile homes are located right there. This decision is hard to understand. Please upgrade the facilities or relocate the tents and pitches to this sanitary building.

We felt good and our granddaughter did too, especially the evening program, yes it is a bit loud but in the end everyone does their own thing.

directly on Lake Garda, very clean and well-maintained, 2 swimming pools, renovated shower and toilet facilities, restaurant offers a variety of dishes, prices are not overpriced. There is a lot offered here for children of all ages. The staff at the reception is always very friendly and helpful. The site fees are not cheap, but you are directly by the lake and can also take care of all daily needs on foot or by bike.

Very clean campsite. Animators very good. Restaurant was good.
