With its own pebble beach, jetty and boat slipway for launching your own boat, Camping Zocco on Lake Garda is the ideal campsite for recreational skippers and water sports enthusiasts. The spacious camping area with its own caravan site also offers plenty of space for motor caravans, boat trailers, dinghies, kayaks and smaller motorboats.
The romantic Camping Zocco campsite is located between olive trees and vineyards on a small headland on the western shore of Lake Garda between the picturesque villages of Moniga and Manerba del Garda. The road leads directly from the reception to the 244 pitches and the boat slip, so that campers can easily launch their boats. The shady, parcelled out pitches all have electricity and water connections. In addition to the caravans, larger house tents and igloos can be conveniently parked. In addition to the camping pitches, there are three bungalows in the lower part of the campsite, each with two accommodation units and a car parking space.
There is an extra area for larger caravans behind a row of palm trees that often rustle in the wind like the South Seas. In front of this is a modern flat block with twelve studios and flats of different sizes, each with a generous number of beds and a pull-out couch. The sanitary facilities on the site are cleaned regularly and offer a dishwashing sink, disabled-accessible toilets and chemical toilet emptying facilities.
The highlight of the well-kept site is certainly the beautiful pebble beach with the bathing jetty extending far into the lake. Children will find a shallow entrance to Italy's largest lake here. In addition, the camping guests are largely among themselves, as day guests have to pay admission to the beach. The family-run business also has a pizzeria, a small bistro and a well-stocked mini-market for self-catering, which also delivers fresh bread rolls to the pitch or mobile home in the morning.
Younger guests can let off steam during the day in the children's play area at Camping Zocco. Tennis courts, a beach volleyball court, underwater massage and many sports activities ensure that there is never a dull moment on a camping holiday on Lake Garda. In addition, the large pool area with sun terrace, free sun loungers and children's pool promises additional opportunities to swim and cool off on hot days.
From the beach and the flats, you can enjoy views of both the picturesque Rocca di Manerba and the imposing Monte Baldo massif. Palm trees, pines and cypresses exude a rich Mediterranean atmosphere on the campsite grounds and even the journey past the vineyards and olive groves of the Valtenesi is a feast for the eyes.
Campers can easily reach the famous Rocca di Manerba rock by bike, but the ascent is then on foot. From the castle ruins, you can enjoy a unique 360-degree panoramic view of Lake Garda, which is at its widest point here. The castle complex of Moniga with its high walls is still intact and the venue for culinary festivities.
Chiaretto di Moniga, Gropello and Bresciano are the region's favourite rosé, red and white wines. On the idyllic grounds of Camping Zocco, guests enjoy the fine wines with old and new friends while sitting around the campfire in the evening and listening to the cicadas chirping. This makes camping holidays on Lake Garda fun!
Book your pitch at Camping Zocco with just a few clicks at Pincamp and secure a great holiday spot for your motorhome, caravan or tent!
