Relaxing Spot Under the Pines

While all the campsites by the sea were fully booked due to the holiday on June 2nd, this campsite, located 20 minutes away from the sea, had many open pitches available. For our 7.30 m caravan, there were plenty of suitable spots. However, we had to maneuver a lot due to the bus framing. The car can be parked separately under tall pines, which provide shade throughout the site and ensures peace on the pitches. The sanitary facilities, as mentioned earlier, are somewhat dated (toilet paper can be pulled out sheet by sheet from a dispenser outside); showers have very little separation, and the water came intermittently warm/cold. This didn't bother us much in the heat here, and everything was clean. The two pools, with different depths, allow for swimming and splashing. The site is predominantly occupied by Germans, Austrians, and Dutch visitors. It is an ideal location for excursions in the surrounding area.

A very beautiful campsite near Cecina. The pitches are separated, and some of the sites are quite steep. There are many shaded spots due to the trees. The sanitary facilities are a bit older but very clean. The dining options on the site are good and affordable. The people at the campsite are very friendly and helpful. A downside is that there is no water on the site, but there are plenty of water points nearby.

Sanitary facilities are terrible!

The places above are okay, below too small and too dark. The tree cover is nice. The sanitary facilities are miserable, obviously nothing has been done for years. Daily cleaning is inadequate. WLAN and mobile service are virtually non-existent. I do not understand the ADAC rating.

We were there in the last week of the off-season and the first week of the main season. The plots are nicely laid out and divided by hedges. The sanitary facilities are typically Italian, but very clean. Unfortunately, cleanliness has deteriorated a bit during the main season, but it wasn't bad and is of course always dependent on the other campers... so not a real criticism of the site. The sanitary facilities are cleaned at least 4 times a day. The animation was excellent and very varied.. We found out just before leaving that a tire on our caravan had gone flat. The reception immediately arranged for a jack to be brought to us and coordinated everything with a local tire dealer, so that we could start our journey home the next day with a new tire. A really great team, please keep it up!

Since we arrived relatively late, there was still an employee there who greeted us kindly, explained the area to us in very good English. The reception speaks very good German and you are welcomed warmly. We even had the opportunity to get a more comfortable spot. The sanitary facilities were in top condition, clean and well-maintained. There’s even a children's bathroom with a shower, toilets, sinks, and small bathtubs for babies. The site itself is also very well-kept. You are under pine trees, the parcel is bordered by hedges with its own water and electricity supply. The pizzeria located behind the reception was very tasty, and there you are also greeted very kindly. The small supermarket has some things you might need quickly. With dogs and children, you are very welcome here!

As always good campsite, even if the sanitary facilities are slowly aging. A refresh will be required in the foreseeable future. Even though everything was well cleaned.

The facility is already many years old, as can be seen from the mature tree population. Everything gives an extremely well-kept impression. The sites are partitioned and separated by hedges. Even the standard pitches are quite large. Sanitary facilities are also very clean and well-maintained. And yes, you have to bring your own toilet paper. Wi-Fi worked perfectly for me. There is a small shop where you can get the essentials. Beyond that, you have to drive to the neighboring village, where there are numerous shopping opportunities. I have taken a few nice road bike tours from here. I would definitely come back.

It was very pleasant under the pine trees despite the high summer. Swimming pool and playground for small children recommended. Super restaurant with adjacent playground.
