Heidelberg holds a very special place in my heart; this city simply has a charm that is difficult to put into words. The city is crossed by a river, over which old bridges lead. In the old town, there is a charming pedestrian zone and cafes and restaurants that invite you to linger. A walk to the Heiliggeistkirche church and the castle is a must. The castle offers one of the most beautiful views of the city.
My tip: Take a leisurely stroll through the old town, visit the small shops, and sit down in a small café to watch the hustle and bustle of the people.
