Overall a nice campsite. We were welcomed kindly. We had a nice large pitch with water very close by and an electricity connection. The grass should have been mowed, but otherwise it was fine. It was a very sunny and warm weekend forecasted. On Friday, the campsite filled up and by the afternoon felt to be 100% occupied. And that was noticeable at the sanitary facilities. 2 sanitary buildings with 2 and 3 men's toilets (only 5 in total!!!) are simply not enough. This was the first campsite where I had to wait for the toilet early in the morning. That's quite unpleasant. Throughout the day it eases up again, but the negative impression remains. At the self-service restaurant in the evening, it was also correspondingly overcrowded and associated with waiting times.

Since it was a hot weekend, up to 32 degrees, I was lucky and managed to get a spot. Despite quite a few dogs, it was surprisingly quiet for the crowd... You could order rolls, very tasty, the sanitary facilities were very clean... the permanent campers around me were all nice people... since I was in Speyer, I couldn't enjoy the lake/beach, I also ate in Speyer, which didn't lead to a restaurant visit... it was 2 relaxing days in a relaxed spot.
