No information on the day of arrival or check-in. We received no information at all. We wanted to go out for dinner, but on Wednesdays, there is no dinner (mind you, during a long weekend in the vacation period, which is peak season), on the other days, you have to reserve for dinner. We would have liked to know that. But as I said, no information was given. So we could never eat in the restaurant. We were also rarely served because they supposedly didn’t see us. Even though there were four of them. Our spot was by far the worst on the campsite. Right by the playground. Everyone rode their bikes, etc., through our spot, causing damage to our caravan. It was extremely loud. Neglected spot in general. Kids worked at the kiosk and restaurant, it took forever and some of them had no idea, let alone training. Mold in the showers. What a shame, the location would be very nice and could be utilized much better. But unfortunately, hospitality is lacking. Why should it be necessary when they don’t need to and people come anyway? We left earlier because we no longer found it nice there.

Super nice staff and operators. Great place. Stayed here for one night. A bit expensive at 31€ including electricity. Great pool. Sanitation area is aging. Food in the restaurant is delicious and a great place for kids.

We were on the campsite for a week as a family in July 2022 and really enjoyed the atmosphere in nature. The children were either in the pool, on the sports field, or out in nature all day long. The staff was always very helpful and friendly. They were always there to listen if we had questions. The restaurant with its delicious pizza and other small dishes for dinner was completely sufficient for us :)

All in all, a very nice campsite in a great location. We were here during peak season in the Hessian summer holidays with two children and a dog. A major drawback, about which I am somewhat surprised in the other reviews, is that the site is not the cleanest. The sanitary area is simply overloaded and not cleaned enough. Of course, it's also up to the users, but we expected a stronger cleaning interval and repairs, such as fixing broken showerheads. For excursions, the site has the perfect location; you can set off in a different direction every day and, for example, quickly reach Lake Constance. The pool is very popular and offers some lounging options. We were not impressed with the dining options, as reservations have to be made, which just doesn't suit us on a campsite during the peak season. Instead, we preferred many great restaurants in the area.

The site is far removed from anything that would bring stress and annoyance. The check-in was smooth and very friendly! After a somewhat narrow bridge on the site, we had reached our pitch. There is plenty for children to experience. Unfortunately, we couldn't eat at the kiosk after check-in, as the kitchen was closed from 2 to 6 PM. The pool is very refreshing, clean, and sufficiently large. The sanitary concept is not easy to understand: here a shower, there a shower, in between a toilet, the chemical toilets are driven past the dishwashing areas and can be smelled during emptying while washing dishes. Overall, a decent site for a short holiday.

A fantastic family campsite with its own pool and a small brook on the campsite. Our children enjoyed it very much. Especially the nearby "Crab Island" was very exciting for the explorers. The pool is also great, which our kids partly used before breakfast. We also recommend: the freshly baked pizza. The sometimes long waiting time is worth it. Very positive for us was the cleanliness of the sanitary building. It was cleaned multiple times a day during the COVID period. I found the rather small camping spots a bit negative. You really are quite close to your neighbor. I think it's great that a lot can be done digitally, e.g. bread ordering. Maybe the payment could also be digitized, allowing for a collective payment at the end of the holiday. Finally, a note: Pay attention to the map! While you are in northern Allgäu, it is not mountainous, and the Alps are not visible. Several camping neighbors were surprised about this. In summary for us: Happy to come again.
