Simply a great place, a pleasure to be a guest there.

I am not a man of long words. We were very kindly and well received. Our friends from the Pfalz are totally enthusiastic. The sanitary facilities are always very clean, and the place is truly excellent. The beer garden is top-notch, as well as the self-service shop open from 8 AM to midnight. Everything is very clean and well maintained. What more could you want. Highly recommended under new management. By the way, the Greek restaurant on the square... very good.

Many of the things that were introduced before the dam's closure and the now completed change of operators have greatly diminished the charm of the family place. Not that the staff is not as committed as before, but the technification in many areas - e.g. the disposal of caravan waste tanks - has not necessarily promoted convenience. A positive note is the improvement of the Wi-Fi network, while the separation of caravan pitches and tent areas has not necessarily increased family-friendliness for the grandchildren. Our grandchildren were not at all pleased to have to walk to their own sleeping place late at night. Moreover, the enforcement of the new regulation must be the same for all guests.

Very spacious and beautifully laid out campsite. Very clean toilets and common area. Pass-through pitches with modern toilet facilities. Perfect roll delivery service. Many recreational opportunities in summer. Located in the vineyards in a very picturesque area. WLAN sometimes unstable. Normal mobile network good. Staff very friendly.

Very nice place, very spacious pitches, very neat sanitary facilities. Very quiet in the off season. Super friendly staff. Here, price and performance are well matched. At the site a Greek restaurant, in the surroundings further local establishments.

Almost like in earlier times with the old operator family Schmitt; unfortunately, however, no tents for the (older) children next to the caravan site are possible anymore. Also only one key for the family shower - which required long walks between the caravan and the tents. Otherwise, again a friendly and helpful team at the reception and on the campsite.

This campsite rightly bears the 5* stars 🌟 a very clean facility, the washrooms are cleaned multiple times daily, the ladies at the reception are always friendly and helpful, even during busy periods! In the first roundabout, there is a Biergarten - here you can find small snacks and a nice selection of drinks. A clear recommendation from me is the Schwarzriesling! The adjacent recreation area borders directly onto the campsite and can be accessed through various gates. Return to the campsite is possible with a transponder (which can be obtained for a deposit at the reception). The entire facility by the lake is also very well maintained. There is a swimming area and a large lawn, a kiosk, a boat rental, and the DLRG has a lookout tower. A walk around the lake (a good 4 kilometers) is very varied and recommended.

Beautifully maintained site! Everything is super organized! Great and sensibly designed, so that the paths to the restroom or the large pirate playground are short. Impeccable restrooms! Beer garden and kiosk at reasonable prices! Incredibly well-kept lake area, which can be visited free of charge, swimming, SUP, or pedal boating is possible there. An adventure playground is also available there. We will definitely come back!
