Camping in Pisa

I first visited Pisa as a child with my parents. In the meantime, I have returned several times with my own family. From the local campsite, it’s easy to reach the monuments at the Square of Miracles. Besides the cathedral and the baptistery, we visited the Leaning Tower. After climbing 294 steps, you are rewarded with a magnificent view. Fortunately, we are not afraid of heights, because the tilt of the tower really challenges your sense of balance.

My tip: Tickets for climbing the tower are limited, so it’s best to reserve in advance. There is also a combined ticket that includes the other sights.
