Miramare Village Apartments Camping

The staff is very friendly and tries their best to make the most of this old facility. The last significant renovation was in 1995. Hot water is available on a card system. Bathing is allowed once a day for 200 seconds. No woman can wash herself in such a short time. The entire site used to be covered in fine gravel which has mixed with dark soil over the years. Now it is a huge mess. There is practically no beach. Remnants of old brick steps lie at the bottom of the slope by the river. The overall condition of the facility resembles that of the 1990s. The shower cabins are a disaster - the tray is too short, water spills into the corridor, and there’s a large plastic box by the faucet that counts down the time. Throughout the site, there are various types of residential containers, each different and one older than the next. It's simply a collection from the last 30 years. Most appear to have been set up fifteen years ago. The staff was cleaning old lanterns that should have been replaced ten years ago.

It is a very clean and peaceful campsite.

Narrow pitch; I had booked a medium-sized one. There was no space to set up the awning. The sanitary facilities are more like a 3-. The chemical toilet is located right next to the shower and toilet in the same building. The waste station was already full in the morning. The site has clearly fallen into disrepair. It is somewhat noisy due to the road and railway. What is good is the staff and the view. The dog area is well designed.

The site and sanitary facilities were spotlessly clean. The entire staff was super friendly and helpful. Pitch/Rental accommodation: The pitches are separated by hedges. The terrace equipped with a table, 4 chairs, and 2 loungers is great.

We had a wonderful week, everything was clean and well-maintained, the pitches offer privacy thanks to the hedges and are spacious enough. Pitch/Rental accommodation: Simply fantastic with the small terrace and available terrace furniture.

Pros

The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff stand out. The campsite is located about 7 km outside Livorno on the coast above the cliffs.
