Miramare Village Apartments Camping

There are nice spots that are not directly on the busy road. The spots that are on the road are not recommended because they are only separated from it by a privacy screen, making them very noisy. The space is very cramped; even smaller motorhomes must maneuver heavily. With a caravan, you can't make it around some corners, and getting to the pitch requires a mover. The basic price includes electricity of 500 W, which is only sufficient for charging mobile devices; it’s not even enough for a hairdryer. This is a joke!!! Then you have to purchase 2000 W for 4 euros per day.

The staff is super friendly, the sanitary facilities are clean and tidy, the pool is wonderfully located. The location is well known: right next to a fast road, train line, and airport - which means it is extremely noisy.

Simply perfect! My husband and I spent 4 nights at Villaggio Camping Miramare and felt completely comfortable. The location is truly charming, situated above the sea. Our standard pitch was in a shady, tree-lined alley, which made it pleasant even on hot days. The sea was never far away, and the view from the campsite is beautiful. We recommend the campsite to anyone wanting to enjoy the sea.

Cons

Everywhere you want to lie on a sunbed, like by the pool, you have to pay. I find this a shame; I didn't choose a campsite with a pool just to have to pay extra to lie on a sunbed by the pool. Pitch/Accommodation: The blankets were poor; there were simply no duvet covers, only sheets folded. Not hygienic.

Pros

The site with terrace was fantastic! Site/Rental accommodation: The spot by the restaurant next to the road was very noisy. The place near the washhouse was okay, but very cramped with the neighbors. However, the site with terrace was truly wonderful!

Cons

The periphery is defective, camper service has no water, the dog area is quite neglected and outdated. There could be some investment here. Site/Rental accommodation: Camper service Dog area

The excitement for the vacation by the sea quickly faded. The pitch is way too small for a caravan and a car, making maneuvering very difficult. We had reserved for 10 days and paid a deposit of 180 €. After 2 days, we decided to spend the remaining 8 days of our Tuscany vacation at another campsite and hoped for some leniency. But that was misguided. We paid the full price (an additional 404 €) and received no discount for the Campcard. The day before, we met some nice campers who were eager to take over the pitch for the next 7 days, but they had to pay the same price too! I find that outrageous! I cannot recommend this campsite.

We had a wonderful stay at Camping Miramare! Our pitch with a sea view was simply incredible. We could see and hear the sea right away. The staff was everywhere very friendly and helpful. Everything was perfect, we will definitely come back!
