👍 The campsite is located on a wooded slope. Our "container" was brand new, built in 2025, close to the minimarket and the pool, making everything super accessible for us. If you live higher up on the slope, the walk to the pool and back is already a small workout. Some pitches/accommodations have a lovely view over the valley down to the sea. All the staff were very friendly, especially the entertainers. The children’s playground is being or has just been renovated and was sufficient for our youngest. For electric car drivers, there are charging points in the parking area of the campsite. Pitch/rental accommodation: The unit provides everything you need, the only thing missing for our pasta happiness was a cheese slicer. The large terrace offers plenty of space for meals and also for a midday nap. Half an hour of air conditioning was enough to get rid of the warm air that had accumulated during the day.

The cleanliness of the site was very good. We encountered different staff members at the reception, none could speak German. The conversation had to be in English, contrary to what was indicated in the camping guide. Although we had to pay for the high season already, there was still no shuttle to the sea. Although other pitches were free for the whole duration of our stay, there was no willingness from the reception to make an exchange. We were accommodated near the children's animation. After the children's animation, television was still running until about 11:30 PM in the animation area. It was only quiet at the pitch around 1 AM. Therefore, one cannot speak of a quiet spot in the evening near the animation area. Some guests had difficulties maneuvering their caravans due to the local conditions on the site.

The campsite is nestled in nature and is beautifully overgrown and shady. Pitch/accommodation: Location.

Cons

The service staff doesn't really care. The washroom was cleaned, but nobody checks if there is enough toilet paper. We had to notify them twice before someone took care of it. The water in one of the toilets kept running. I wrote an email, but received no response. A toilet lid was loosely placed. Nobody seems to care. The pitches (there aren’t many left) are left to their own devices. Needles and cones are lying around everywhere. It would also be nice to add some gravel so that you don’t stand in the dirt. Pitch/accommodation: Maintenance. Noise caused by constant mowing with brush cutters and heavy equipment. We ultimately left four days earlier.

I can agree with the previous reviews for the most part. However, I must point out: everywhere there is a playing of '80s pop music, dry ice during the children's activities (even though there are hardly any participants), and a fully operational water park (which no one uses). In contrast, it seems that it is not possible in the 21st century, in the land of Ferrari, Lamborghini, and Ducati, to provide functioning showers for your guests. The sanitary facilities are all spotlessly clean. With the SOLE use of one of the 10 showers (men), the water only becomes somewhat warm after a few minutes. After about a minute, the fun is already over, as the pressure completely drops and only a trickle drips from the nozzle. Additionally, almost all taps are defective. What a pity.

We arrived expecting to pay quite a small fortune, as the place appeared at first glance. Therefore, we were pleasantly surprised when the lady at the reception said, for one night for 2 adults, 1 baby, and 1 dog, including electricity/showers/pool, it would be 19 Euros. Wow. It is a very well-maintained facility, and you need a swimming cap at the pool. You can walk to the little town of Castagneto Carducci. We only stayed for 2 nights but would like to come back :)

We have been there 3 times now. We booked directly with the campsite operator and therefore had access to sun loungers and umbrellas at the International Camping Etruria campsite for free. This is about 6 km away, directly by the sea (this one is also highly recommended). Each time we booked a mobile home and were very satisfied with it. Very clean and everything you need is there. The car can almost always be parked directly at the mobile home. The campsite is somewhat hilly, so those who do not like walking in the mountains are poorly advised :-). From the site, you can even enjoy wonderful views of the sea in some places. It is also possible to start nice hikes from there (about an 8 km loop). The small town of Castagneto Carducci is also reachable on foot through a small patch of woods. On the way to the beach, there are also various shopping opportunities. I found it very nice that at the entrance from the main road to the campsite, there was a small farmers' stand that had great vegetables and fruits. All in all, I can only recommend both the campsite and the surrounding area. You can have a great vacation there, both with children and if you are looking for peace.
