What campers are saying
Summarized by AI
The campsite scores with its dreamlike hilltop location in the middle of Tuscan nature and a pool that offers a magnificent panoramic view. Campers particularly enjoy the spacious, shady pitches with plenty of privacy. Good to know for the trip: Due to the steep hillside location, you will walk up and down quite a bit on the site, and the winding approach also requires some driving skill.

The location was very beautiful and the campsite was tidy. The pitch/accommodation was neat and well separated from the other places.
Cons
A stronger Wi-Fi signal across the campsite would be beneficial.

Pros
Nice swimming pool, good sanitary facilities, and stunning views. Pitch/Rental accommodation: Nice spacious spot with a sense of privacy and a water tap at the pitch
Cons
The playground has a slide that really needs replacing, and the restaurant is a bit pricey for what you get. It does taste good, though. Pitch/Rental accommodation: It’s difficult to get in and out with the caravan. Everything is quite steep, and our car struggled to get the caravan onto the campsite.

Pros
The view was lovely, everything was very clean. Pitch/Rental accommodation: Very quiet, nice view
Cons
The internet was a disaster. Wi-Fi was only available in a small area, which is manageable. However, not being able to make calls from the pitch, let alone use your own mobile data, is outdated. Pitch/Rental accommodation: The entry to the pitch should be widened a bit. It's somewhat difficult to access with a larger caravan setup.

Pros
Sanitary facilities are excellent, nice restaurant and terrace. Friendly staff. Our pitch was a bit small, but fine for 6 days. Wonderful swimming pool, clean but still chilly in May! Wifi/internet connection was poor, even at the reception in the wifi zone there was little reception. We were here for the second time and do not rule out a next visit.

Exclusive spot with a few drawbacks

The reception is very friendly, and the site itself is quite varied, located on a hill or mountain, making each pitch unique. The dining options and the pool area were TOP clean and well-maintained. The small shop and the restaurant do have prices that are more on the higher end of the possible price range, but this is naturally explained by the higher location. The sanitary facilities were TOP, except for warm water while showering... not everyone can shower at once. What one must accept is that there are no cycling and hiking paths directly adjacent; you first have to go down the hill. And the hairpin turns on a bike are somewhat adventurous since there is quite a bit of traffic.

Idyllic, mostly quiet campsite on a steep hill

Scenically located in a very beautiful area, quiet and in the midst of nature. However, it is also remote and very hilly. There’s no chance of quickly biking to the store. Even e-bikes struggle with the steep inclines. The shop at the site is quite limited and expensive. Mobile phone reception is poor. Wi-Fi is only available at the bar. In my opinion, this is not a "Leading Camp". There are more and more glamping options, attracting many neo-campers. The pool offers a very nice view, but the so-called SPA is misused by children and teenagers as a warm small children's pool. The sanitary facilities are partially (33%) quite outdated and cleaned only with little motivation. Depending on the choice, the pitches can also be very large. We traveled with a motorhome (7.3m). Getting there with a caravan (I saw 3 caravans on the site in 9 days) is quite cumbersome, and I would advise against it.

Pros
This campsite is truly situated in a stunning spot. From our tent, we had a wonderful view over the valley. The staff was welcoming, and the tent was spacious with a large veranda. It is perfectly located for trips to Pisa, Lucca, and Florence. Despite the chilly nights in April (manageable with extra blankets), it was delightful here, perhaps even better than in the summer. Pitch/Accommodation: Spacious tent and large veranda Beautiful view. Excellent shower. BBQ.
Cons
Pitch/Accommodation: A little heater would have been nice so you could stay outside longer in the evenings during April, past 10 PM. The bed was a bit hard.
