Travelling by caravan or motorhome from Germany to the Makarska Riviera is characterised by well-developed road networks and a pleasant route. Only in the high season, i.e. in the summer months of July and August, are traffic jams or other traffic obstructions more frequent.
The distance between the German city of Munich and the Makarska Riviera is around 1,000 kilometres. The route leads from Munich past Rosenheim to Salzburg and then via the A10 motorway towards Villach. From here, continue on the A11 motorway in Slovenia towards Ljubljana.
