Camp Grebišće

Thank God there is neither a pool nor animation here. Instead, there are two shallow sandy coves. For entry with a rubber boat, kayak, etc., these are rather poorly suited, as there are only two accesses: One via a narrow, steep staircase between two narrow stone walls, the other through a staircase between the guest tables of the beach bar. But with the paddleboard carried upright, you can get through. The beach bar is not very large and unfortunately, most of the seats are occupied by foreign guests, who swarm in like flies from outside in the morning and only leave at sunset. The site itself is quite nearly perfect. Sure, you can always expect more and more, but that's complaining on a very high level. The two managers are absolutely nice, helpful and eager to please everyone. Motorhomes are parked in the lower area of the site, where a sanitary building is still in the planning phase. Before arrival, it's advisable to shop generously if you are staying here with a motorhome, as the nearest town, Jelsa, is a good 40 minutes away on foot. Because, aside from the reception, you can only buy white bread, croissants, homemade wine, olive oil, and schnapps in the small camping shop. We felt absolutely comfortable here and will return.

Nice reception, space for campers in the lower area. Steep path to the somewhat cramped sanitary facilities, shower only lukewarm. Location by the bay is fantastic but not so great in the rain. Highly recommended in nice weather, although at 38€ per night for 2 people in the pre-season it is already a bit steep.

Places mostly with little shade and no privacy, every square meter rented including accesses and stair entrances, catastrophic sanitary facilities (small, faulty, dirty), no restaurant, overpriced kiosk, partially annoyed staff, construction site...

Great location, very good sanitary facilities, always clean, friendly and very helpful operators. Have been here several times and will be happy to come again!

Beautiful quiet place. Right by the sea. Within walking distance to the next village. The sanitary facilities are very clean, but unfortunately there are none in the lower section.

Very nicely located. Good starting point for cycling tours into the inland. Places in the lower area are flat, partitioned by hedges, and quiet. Terraces are very nice, shady, and almost every place has its own washing basin hot/cold, and toilets at the beach spots. Sanitary facilities are modern, clean, not 400 meters away!! Directly at 2 bays, one suitable for children. Protected against almost all winds. I know all campsites in Hvar and Brac, this one is in my opinion the most beautiful. Underrated by ADAC, thank God.

We really like the CP and are always happy to come back.

Most beautiful campsite in Croatia. Peace and crystal clear water. Great view and modern, clean sanitary facilities.
