Camping Mon Perin

We stayed here in June 2026 and had booked a premium spot in the first row in advance. The view of the sea is truly breathtaking. It's worth checking the campsite layout beforehand or viewing the individual spot directly on Campmap. The campsite actually consists of two areas: San Polo, which is newer and more modern (where we stood), and Colona, which doesn’t seem as modern in terms of infrastructure and washrooms, but is clean. One negative point we felt was that some people with their vehicles (campers, cars, or motorcycles) raced extremely quickly across the site. Given the number of children and dogs, this is incomprehensible. I also find the behavior of some campers quite questionable. For example, they simply use the private access to the premium spots and walk over the pitch instead of utilizing the official entrances. Or they use the private showers.

For motorhome drivers, it is difficult to get to other places. At the campsite, everything is top.

We prefer the spots with jacuzzi the most. The water park is nice and well done. The mini-market could have a better selection as you first have to drive about 8 km to Bale to shop at an equally tiny supermarket.

The panorama is very beautiful, but that was all. The good spots are occupied by permanent campers, and they are loud and disrespectful. The sanitary facilities are permanently wet and slippery, so you should be very careful not to slip. The showers only have cold water. The site is divided into two, so you can only reach the pool by bike or the little train. Terms and conditions are written in small print, there are no wishes or refunds for early escape. We cannot recommend this place, the stars and price are incomprehensible. Stay away, there are better spots.

Great location – well-kept pitches, clean sanitary facilities, short walk to the sea, and many good restaurants. Absolutely recommended in terms of location to the sea and comfort. However, here is an important note for insect-sensitive individuals: We had daily animal company – many hairy caterpillars, large grasshoppers, especially the common saddle grasshoppers were seen everywhere. In the evening, you could literally hear them hopping – and occasionally a 3 cm long grasshopper with antennae would jump right from the tree in front of your feet. I don’t want to discourage anyone – we had a lovely time. But we have rarely experienced so many large grasshoppers in a confined space even in the south. Those who love nature will not be disturbed – for everyone else, it’s good to know and a small note from our vacation.

Great place, great location! Especially the PaleoPark was super clean, large, and there was something for everyone. The inflatable castle in the sea and the loungers by the pool were free. Despite the summer holidays, the beach and the sea were not too crowded. The spots have plenty of shade, and you can watch the most beautiful sunsets!

Defective showers Space much too small

The €20 reservation fee was already gone. The prepaid down payment of €70 was supposedly not received and had to be proven by us. Refund has not occurred until today... No ifs and buts... despite the pre-reservation, we felt like we got the worst spot ever... We arrived after about 13 hours of driving and were assigned a spot that was not feasible for over €45/night. The three-dimensional slope in the middle of the woods (we operate solar), dark without sunlight, dirty, with cans and garbage bags everywhere, across from an inflatable swimming island about 4x6 meters large, which blocked our view of the distant sea (allegedly with sea view), which was also blocked by campers, that a guest had set up sideways, no separated parcel as described. Animation so loud that you couldn't understand your own words. Nice is different... Cancellation only possible in English, no one spoke German as described. Offers like, for example, massage offered in plastic tents looked makeshift... we were then allowed to choose two other spots, which were just as dark and, due to heavy tree cover, barely accessible with a large camper, as other guests of course didn't clear their spot for us as a "driveway" and only became free the next day. Exhausted, we parked in the parking lot, where we were told it was monitored by the police. Service was zero... we then moved on for 1 hour and were rewarded with a clean and professionally run site. So we could not relate to the description from Pincamp. Unsanitary, unprofessionally run, loud, and especially very dark "parcels". What good is the daily fruit and vegetable offer? We were very disappointed with the very poor price-performance ratio.
