We are here for the third time, and while we can confirm the other reviews,... The price-performance ratio is no longer acceptable given that it is quite loud due to the road and the bar across the street, there is no fresh water or sewage connection at any spot, and the site gets quite crowded in t

The campsite is ideally located, the beach (depending on where you stand) is 20 meters away. The town center is 100 meters away. In the village, there are several supermarkets (a Plodine coming soon on the main road) and bakeries, fruit stands, etc. The restaurants in the village are all good and re

Beautiful little spot, good location to the very nice pebble beach. Water super clean. Sanitary facilities very clean. Only electricity, water must be fetched. Nevertheless, a clear recommendation. The campsite is quite small and the pitches are somewhat unorthodox. We had 3 wonderful days. The friendliness and cleanliness were impressive. The beach was right across the way, albeit a bit narrow. The location in the town was great, allowing for evening strolls or dining in one of the restaurant

Camp Viter is located next to the monastery of Viter and is only separated from the beach by a little-used village road. The site has shade from olive trees and other vegetation. Gravel beach with clean water and a beautiful view of the Peljesac Peninsula. Adequate sanitary facilities are regularly

A holiday at Camp Viter means one thing above all - unwinding and enjoying the most beautiful beaches in southern Croatia. Here, bathing fun, culture and spectacular nature blend harmoniously and ensure a varied holiday.
Camp Viter is characterised by a peaceful atmosphere that makes for a relaxing stay. One of the campsite's highlights is its location directly on the picturesque coast. Here, the azure blue sea with its crystal-clear and pleasantly temperate water beckons. The directly accessible beach is located in a sheltered bay and slopes gently downwards. It is therefore also ideal for children to swim in. The surrounding area also offers other dream beaches nestled between dreamy coastal villages. Camp Viter is therefore the perfect place for a family-friendly swimming and beach holiday. At the same time, natural excursion destinations such as the Baćina Lakes and the Biokovo nature reserve are nearby.
Electricity connections and Wi-Fi are standard amenities on the spacious pitches at Camping Viter, and clean sanitary facilities increase the feel-good factor. The flat meadow area is lined with numerous olive and laurel trees, which provide pleasant shade, privacy and a natural atmosphere on the site. Dogs are also welcome guests at Camp Viter. Holidaymakers will also find a supermarket and a selection of restaurants and bars in the immediate vicinity of the campsite. While the adjacent beach is one of the most popular places to stay at Camping Viter, excursions to the surrounding area are also worthwhile. The 14th-century monastery of St Mary, one of the most important cultural monuments in the region, is just 200 metres from the campsite. Nature lovers should not miss an excursion to the Biokovo Nature Park, about 30 kilometres away. A hike up to the summit of the 1,762 metre-high Sveti Jure, the highest mountain in the area, promises breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape and the Croatian Adriatic. From the village of Drvenik, 4 km away, there are regular ferry connections to the popular holiday island of Hvar. With its bathing bays and the historically significant town of Hvar, it is equally popular with beach and culture lovers. The friendly staff at Camp Viter will be happy to advise guests on other excursion options.
