Bardolino for gourmets, wine lovers and foodies

Bardolino is located in one of Italy's most famous wine-growing regions. It is therefore well worth exploring the surrounding area and tasting the region's produce at one of the many wineries. Villa Calicantus is located just one kilometre from Cisano and has many fine wines in its cellar. We also recommend the Tenuta Preella Lamberti winery, where you can sample the best wines from the surrounding area every day.

If you are interested in viticulture, visit the Zeni Wine Museum - a wine tasting is of course also included. Be sure to try the two most famous Bardolino wines - the sparkling Bardolino and the lighter-coloured Chiaretto. The Bardolino wine gets its special flavour from the Corvina Veronese and Rondinella grape varieties. When buying, look out for the Classico label - these are wines from the core growing areas of Lazise, Bardolino and Affi. With the quality level "DOCG", the wine then becomes "Superiore" - these are particularly fine wines and a nice souvenir to take home.
