Good but expensive!
Standard pitches are usually quite narrow but largely flat. Sanitary facilities are very good. Nice pool, unfortunately often a bit loud and with many towel reservations. Something should be done about this. The location by the lake is very nice. Prices in May range from 42 to over 60 Euros for a st… More

Well-maintained Campsite with Slope on Some Pitches
We were in the off-season with a box van at the campsite, which is located directly by the lake and conveniently between Bardolino and Garda. Both places are reachable on foot with a short walk along the lake. The campsite is well-kept, the buildings (with a restaurant, a well-equipped supermarket, … More

Actually a great spot, but...
We were at this campsite from April 21 to April 28, 2022. We had booked the spot back in December 2021 and received a reservation for a SUPERIOR LAKE SPOT. We paid a deposit for such a spot and ultimately paid for it too. However, I (unfortunately only now during the review of our trip) realized tha… More

As always, very good
A very nice, family-friendly campsite. Great sanitary facilities. Unfortunately, this year the sun loungers were constantly reserved with towels. This could be prevented next time. Otherwise, we felt very comfortable again with three children.

La Rocca Camping Village near the historic town of Bardolino invites you to enjoy an active holiday on the eastern shore of Lake Garda. A wide range of activities for young and old, direct access to the private beach and a variety of accommodation to suit every need make the campsite an ideal holiday destination for families looking for fun and entertainment in the midst of nature.
La Rocca Camping Village extends around 1.5 kilometres from Bardolino across an old olive grove to the coast. Its 300 pitches are located either directly on the lake or on a slope and are equipped with an electricity connection, the power of which varies depending on the category booked. Pitches in the superior category also have a water and waste water connection. The size of the pitches ranges from 40m² for standard pitches to 150m² in the Superior Lux category. Alternatively, various flats with a balcony or terrace and mobile homes for up to seven people are also available, which combine the lifestyle of a campsite with the amenities of a hotel complex. They have separate living and sleeping areas, a kitchen, a TV and a private bathroom. Families with small children can book a baby package with cot, child seat and bathtub on request. La Rocca Camping Village also focuses on sustainable tourism, for which it has been awarded the GSTC certificate. Dogs are also welcome at the campsite. Entertainment is provided by the pool area with water slide, beach volleyball, football and basketball courts and a varied entertainment programme with sports tournaments, Italian courses and evening shows. Children can let off steam on the indoor and outdoor playgrounds or visit the Rocky mini club, which offers age-appropriate games and a children's disco. The aquaglamping area, which is also available to guests in winter, is also very popular. At mealtimes, the Botanika restaurant serves local specialities indoors or on the terrace overlooking the lake, while self-catering guests can find all the ingredients for their own private menu in the supermarket.
An exit in the lower part of the campsite leads directly to the green and pebble beach with a private jetty, which attracts sun worshippers and water sports enthusiasts alike. Those wishing to explore the landscape around Lake Garda can use the La Rocca Camping Village bike hire service and go on tours along the shore or through the surrounding wine-growing areas. Mountain hikes are also on offer. To the south of the campsite, Bardolino attracts visitors with historical sights such as the church of San Severo or the 16th century Loggia Rambaldi, while to the north, the town of Garda awaits with its lakeside promenade and historic town centre. Another plus point of Camping Village La Rocca is its proximity to Gardaland.
