Great location - miserable sanitary facilities

The direct sea view and docks to the lake are wonderful! Gravel sites are very good. The 2 very old sanitary buildings are a disgrace. Neither the showers nor the washbasins or toilets are separated, nor is there any gender separation. Toilet paper is completely lacking. The larger building is not structurally closed, the wind whistles through everywhere, which is dreadful in autumn with colder temperatures. The overall standard reminds of a train station toilet from the last century!

Very nice campsite, we booked for 10 days and had a spot (No. 71) right by the water. We then extended for another week and moved to spot 13. Simply top-notch.

The place is very close to the town of Bardolino. You can come in and out by car at any time, even at noon. It's nice that it is right by the water and you can enjoy unobstructed (except for the many sailboats) sunsets. In my immediate neighborhood, I was the only one who didn't have a dog. The place is rather unsuitable for my pet hair allergy. The sanitary facilities are from the 70s and only newly tiled on the outside. In the small restaurant at the entrance, there are fresh rolls in the morning if you arrive on time and a few grocery items. The electricity is very weakly secured, so electric grilling is out of the question. As a caravan driver, I am a rare specimen here and was lucky that a 4-meter-high wall did not get parked right next to me. It’s great if you don’t stay at the site.

So getting closer to the lake isn't possible! I would definitely recommend making a reservation. Most campers here are definitely "repeat visitors". Yes, the sanitary facilities are not up to date anymore, but what matters more to us - they are clean and are cleaned multiple times a day. The operators are very friendly and accommodating. The proximity to Bardolino is perfect. In our opinion, the most beautiful location by the lake.

Very beautifully located place, right by the water. All the staff are very friendly and helpful, showers/WC always clean. 90 percent are German-speaking here. Right next to the beach promenade and the beautiful old town. Always happy to come back.

Great location, almost every spot with a view of the lake

Very good8

First the best: The site is located very well, a strip along the lake. Almost every spot has a lake view. A picturesque little village is reachable on foot (about 15 minutes). This is already one of the most important features of camping, perhaps even the most important. Dogs are allowed, but the site is not very suitable for dogs. You can only enter and exit the site from the main entrance, and a dog area is on the opposite side. In the worst case, you would have to walk all the way across the site to go back on the outside. The sanitary facilities are clean but outdated. In my opinion, not having toilet paper in the restrooms is unacceptable, and therefore there will be significant point deduction. Electricity and water at each spot. Some spots are a bit cramped, and only some spots are suitable for large campers. Space is very sought after due to its location, so it's a matter of luck to find something short-term and without a reservation during the season. A kiosk with the essentials is available. Conclusion: Location Top, you can't get closer to the lake. Dogs are okay, better to bring your own sanitary facilities. Location: ***** Dogs: *** Sanitary:** Overall: ***(1/2)

Positive: The square is located directly by the water, the usual promenade goes around the square. Bardolino center is just a few minutes' walk away. The square is nicely designed with different-sized plots. Negative: First of all, the incredibly unfriendly, rude and unhelpful staff should be mentioned. Furthermore, the washhouses are "unusual" for Northern Italy. Likely built in the 60s and hardly modernized. Dark, dirty and malfunctioning showers (water does not drain, shower rods fall off, etc.), toilets with three-quarters doors and no paper, etc. The price level is clearly too high for this site.
