Vela Blu Camping Village

4.5-star campsite right on the beach

The Adriatic Sea to the south, the lagoon of Venice to the north: Situated on a peninsula, the Italian municipality of Cavallino-Treporti is a popular holiday destination for anyone who enjoys sunbathing on the beach and refreshing themselves in the water. The Vela Blu Camping Village is beautifully situated directly on a private beach with sun loungers and parasols for the necessary shade. The conditions are therefore ideal for a holiday by the sea. A playground and three beach volleyball courts as well as a beach soccer pitch are also located directly on the beautiful sandy beach. Water rats and bathing beauties meet in the large bathing area, the centrepiece of the 3.3-hectare campsite. The water park is characterised by two pools, one of which has three water slides, and a shallow paddling area. At the pool bar, guests can refresh themselves with a fruity drink and fortify themselves with snacks. And if that's not enough, you can take a diving course or hire a kayak at the nearby Ca' Pasquali Village. The La Vela restaurant is very popular with holidaymakers, offering changing themed evenings as well as delicious Italian dishes and, of course, freshly baked pizzas. Children can run around in the playground not far from the restaurant and four-legged family members are also very welcome at the Vela Blu camping village. Dogs are also allowed on a lead in the restaurant, but are not allowed in the water park or on the campsite's private beach. However, there are four public beach areas for dogs in Cavallino-Treporti. The dog showers are located in the north-western part of the campsite and campers quickly come into contact with each other, as the campsite has only 65 pitches with parcelling. The pitches measure between 70 and 90 square metres and are all equipped with electricity, waste water and fresh water connections. The emptying of cassette toilets is of course also provided for. Guests can also use the WLAN access on the camping site free of charge. There are various sanitary cabins available, including sanitary cabins for children, cabins with wheelchair-accessible showers and family bathrooms. Those not travelling with their own caravan, motorhome or tent can book a variety of rental accommodation in the Vela Blu holiday village: spacious caravans for a holiday in a mobile home, brick-built bungalows with up to 6 beds and holiday homes in the residence offer comfortable accommodation with full facilities as an alternative to a camping holiday.

Fun and games on site and in the surrounding area

Children have fun every day under the guidance of the friendly and experienced entertainment team, taking part in sporting competitions or making beautiful holiday souvenirs. Families can also spend a great day at the "Aqualandia" water park. The car can be left behind, as the water park is only 10 km away and can be easily reached by bike or public transport. There is a bus stop just a few steps away from the entrance to Vela Blu Camping Village. No bike with you? No problem, as bikes can be hired directly at the campsite. Also popular is the cycle tour to Punta Sabbioni, a harbour town just 7 km west of Vela Blu Camping Village. Ferries depart several times a day from the harbour of this small town to the lagoon city of Venice.
