The hiking trails through the spectacular sandstone cliffs and gorges are simply breathtaking—and perfect for the whole family, as you can choose between very easy and very exciting tours. You walk through narrow crevices, climb over rocks and ascend metal ladders to the next rock steps – all while enjoying magnificent views. If you don't mind crowds, you should definitely visit the Bastei, but even from a distance it is quite impressive.

Tip: Discovering the landscape from a paddle boat on the Elbe opens up a whole new perspective.
