Meadow terrain located between Süduferstraße and the lake, with multiple terraces and mostly terraced grassland on both sides of a wooded hill. Dotted with deciduous trees and various plantings. Some pitches stretch down to the beach. Sports facilities are located on the opposite side of the road.
Access to water
Approximately 800 m long shoreline, partly paved, partly overgrown with reeds, with a footpath. Bordered on both sides by a small sandy/gravel beach cove. Also features wooden jetties with bathing ladders and several sunbathing lawns.

An excellent campsite, we had absolutely no points of criticism. The staff at the reception was extremely courteous and friendly. We stayed with our dogs for 10 days in June, and it was absolutely hassle-free, with walking trails in the nearby forest and even a small access to the water for the dogs. Nice access to the lake with a grassy area for us, and even in the off-season, there was already "light animation". Super sanitary facilities, very well-maintained site and pitches. All in all, a TOP campsite.

+ Everyone is very friendly (reception, supermarket); great beaches (especially the water trampolines); well-stocked supermarket on the site; with the Kärnten Card you can do many great activities in the area that are really worth it - during our stay at the end of August, the restroom mentioned above was unfortunately never really clean; the children's area was also very dirty; for takeout, there are frozen pizzas for about 12€ - taste-wise just okay and price-wise for frozen goods quite high.

We have been vacationing in the Ossiach region for years and this was our first time at Berghof; from the reception, it was clear that this would become our regular spot. The staff is very friendly; you feel at home immediately. We had a comfort site, large enough for our motorhome and trailer, more than sufficient, everything in place; electricity 5m from the distributor, fresh water, sewage disposal including toilet, everything is there! Comfort as the name suggests. The whole site is very clean, the WC and shower are cleaned multiple times a day, modern facilities. The beach is suitable for children, sandy access with no stones. Private pier for cruises. Bus stop at the doorstep with the ticket free to Villach. Spar grocery store on site has everything you need. Restaurant on site with delicious dishes, from pizza to roasted meat. Five stars are not enough. We will definitely be back next year.

This is our third time at this campsite and we are once again really enjoying it. The sanitary facilities are clean, the beach and the lake are great, and our current spot is very nice.
