Josephine's tip

Veere is an old Zeeland fishing village located on the Veerse Meer lake. It has a cozy atmosphere and offers beautiful views across the water. The town has beautiful old buildings. You can enjoy delicious fish at one of the many restaurants or warm up with a hot chocolate in winter. My favorite shop is the Schapekop, which sells all kinds of woolen products. There is also a nice cookery shop on the square in the center. Be careful if you take the bus to Veere. My boyfriend and I did this once but didn't check the bus times for the return journey, which meant we had to walk to Middelburg for two hours.
