Hof Domburg

The Hof Domburg of the Roompot chain has unfortunately not met our expectations at all. The place looks unkempt and worn upon entering. The plots, including ours, were not mowed, the hedge untrimmed, and the camping spots had deep furrows. In the rain, the actual parking spot is the lowest point - water does not flow to the street but into the awning. Our booked private sanitary unit was moldy and not cleaned. The main area is in urgent need of renovation, as the paving stones are raised and pose a risk, especially for playing children. During our walk around the site, we repeatedly found lodges, chalets, and pitches that were not (100%) well maintained. Weeds, unmowed grass, insects on the facade. Additionally, the burnt-down swimming pool is now a concern. Hopefully, with the transfer to LANDAL, there will finally be fundamental investment.

The campground is well located, close to the very beautiful sandy beach. The town of Domburg is quickly accessible. - The pitches are not particularly large, the sanitary facilities are very basic and outdated. The cleaning was only performed very superficially. The swimming pool is neglected, dirty, and in need of repairs. Overall, the price-performance ratio is not correct. We wanted to stay ONE day longer because of the good weather. The staff did not feel able to meet our request despite a nearly empty campground. We will not recommend this site.

The campsite has aged. It gives the impression that on many fronts, maintenance and care are being cut back. Grass areas and green spaces are untidy. Puddles everywhere, clogged drains, shower water reduced to a minimum. Modest offerings in the restaurants and snack bars. We cannot recommend the site and will not book there again in the future.

The location at the edge of Domburg is good. The site itself has aged and is not well maintained. The access to our pitch was so narrow that the caravan had to be detached and moved with the mover. There are deep grooves in the ground at some pitches. After a night of rain, the entire plot and access paths were underwater. In front of the caravan, we had a perfect match playground. The sanitary facilities were clean but also completely outdated and no longer up-to-date.

We had a private bathroom this year, it was good and very pleasant, but it could have been made nicer. However, the access roads were partly very narrow and had deep puddles and ruts (with a caravan). Dog friendly yes, but the so-called dog run is a joke; they should have left that out instead of offering something like this. The size was approximately 4x4.

The location is very good, quick to the beach and also quickly in the village (Domburg). The sanitary facilities are from the 80s and are outdated. Now water is also being conserved, making showering not really enjoyable; the cleanliness of the sanitary facilities used to be better. For the price range, one can expect more.

Not a nicely designed place with outdated, unattractive sanitary facilities at exorbitant prices. There are much nicer options for half the price!

The location is great, unfortunately, the sanitary facilities are not that good. More than 3-star camping should not be expected.
