Thorsminde Camping is ideally located for swimming fans and water sports enthusiasts between the sea and a huge inland lake in Denmark. The campsite not only offers great opportunities to indulge in hobbies such as fishing and kiteboarding, but also fun and games for children and dogs.

Camping in a water sports and fishing paradise

The holiday resort is located on a narrow strip of dunes in the harbour town of the same name in West Jutland. While the deep blue North Sea stretches out on one side after salt marshes and the white sandy beach, on the other side the animal and plant oasis of the Nissum Fjord invites you to go fishing, windsurfing, kiteboarding and kayaking. If you cast your fishing line there, you can look forward to a large haul of herring, garfish, mackerel and flatfish. Thorsminde Camping has a fishing hut right next to the saltwater lagoon where visitors can clean and freeze their catch in a cosy atmosphere. WLAN reception is available throughout the site, including on the 150 pitches. The pitches measure 80 to 100 square metres and are located on a sunny, level meadow with no trees. Camping guests can use the campsite's own indoor pool with water slide, counter-current system, paddling pool, sauna and fitness room free of charge. Children of all ages can romp around in the adventure playground with its giant trampoline, swings, sandpit and numerous sliding and climbing facilities. If the weather is not so nice, they can continue playing indoors in the children's room. The four-legged camping friends can keep fit on the obstacle course for dogs. A mini golf course at Thorsminde Camping also promises family fun for children of all ages.
