Here you will find idyllic lakes, exciting cliffs in picturesque natural surroundings and the sea and beach are never far away. The dense, secluded forest regions contrast wonderfully with the well-known and impressive city of Malmö in the south-west of the region. Its numerous medieval and modern buildings provide plenty of variety as well as first-class shopping opportunities.
Many campsites in Skåne also offer various activities such as minigolf, kitesurfing, beach volleyball and horse riding. Anglers can also indulge in their hobby in Skåne, as there are all kinds of lakes and rivers rich in fish, often in complete seclusion.
The perfect time for camping in Skåne is from May to October. At the height of summer, between July and August, it can be up to 22 degrees Celsius and the Baltic Sea has a very refreshing temperature of around 16 degrees Celsius. From May onwards, the magnificent yellow rapeseed fields are in bloom, which are particularly beautiful to admire when exploring the region by bike.
From September it gets a little cooler, making it the best time for extensive city and sightseeing trips. In addition, the nature of Skåne is ablaze with autumn colours in October, which is why this time of year is also very popular with campers who want to experience unforgettable days in this beautiful region of Sweden.
