Good campsite right next to the beautiful beach
Well located, nice staff, clean washrooms. Showers could be a bit larger, and having separate toilets and washrooms would be practical. Here you come out of the toilet door and, for example, stand in the way of children brushing their teeth.

Ordinary Place
Ordinary place near the town of Ystad. The campsite is primarily characterized by permanent campers. The pitches vary in quality but are generally flat and do not require wedges. The sanitary facilities are in decent condition and clean. Extra fees apply for showering. The railway line passing by th… More

Well Located Site
The parking space is conveniently located just before Ystad. The sanitary facilities are clean, but the showers are very small. Showers cost 5SEK for 3 minutes and must be charged to a card. If you leave and still have a balance on the card, there is no refund, so it's better to top up intermittentl… More

Good campsite with large trees.
The parking spaces are available in different sizes. By bike (about 10 minutes) or by bus, you can quickly get to Ystad. The beach is also accessible on foot with small children. A small shop and a pizzeria are located on the site. The washrooms are clean. You can purchase a card for the showers, wh… More

Very nice campsite
We were there at the end of June 2023 with a tent for two nights. Very nice reception. Communication in English. Brochures in German. The location is great. Directly behind the dune by the sea. Several toilets and showers (6SEK) available. They were cleaned daily. Drinking water available everywhere… More

Too loud, but close to the beautiful beach
We stayed at this campsite for two nights in mid-August 2022 before taking the ferry from Ystad back to Germany. For this purpose, the campsite was okay, but we wouldn't recommend it for longer stays. The site is bordered to the north by a railway track and to the south by a busy road, making it har… More

City Camping
The advantage is certainly the proximity to the beautiful city center of Ystad and to the beach. Otherwise, there is not much nice. Very old sanitary facilities. Located between the train and the main road. Only recommended if you can cope with a lot of noise at night.

The child-friendly Sandskogen campsite is located directly on the Swedish Baltic Sea to the east of Ystad and is perfect for a beach holiday with the whole family. It also offers good opportunities for excursions into nature.
The campsite extends over an area of eight hectares behind a wall in a sparse pine forest right down to the beach. It is therefore well shielded from the road and offers its guests the peace and quiet they need for a relaxing holiday. There are over 200 pitches on the site. These are not parcelled out, but the trees and hedges provide privacy for individual visitors. To guarantee the necessary power supply, there are a total of 190 CEE sockets. Emptying the motorhomes is also taken care of. It is only 200 metres to one of Sweden's most beautiful beaches, where camping holidaymakers can enjoy true bathing pleasure. There is a kiosk with an ice cream bar on the beach where you can sample the popular waffles with cream and jam as well as other delicacies. Sandskogen campsite is located in the middle of the nature reserve of the same name. Here you can go on wonderful hikes and marvel at the richness of nature. A mini-golf course awaits holidaymakers who like to have fun. There is also an 18-hole course and the Nybrostrand open-air swimming pool with a heated outdoor pool in the immediate vicinity. And you can follow in the footsteps of Henning Mankell's "Inspector Wallander" in Ystad.
