We only stayed for two nights as a stopover and were very satisfied. The photos on the website made it seem like the site was paved for caravans. However, the pitches for caravans and awnings are gravel. The sanitary facilities were very clean, with individual toilet cubicles equipped with sinks. There was also a family shower available. Additionally, there was a very well-equipped kitchen with 2 free industrial dishwashers. The hot water in the kitchen was free too. Outside taps and showers charged hot water via a code. The electricity was also billed based on consumption. There are several nice playgrounds, which were also used by the kindergarten or school classes. You can hear the kindergarten, but it didn't bother us. The mini-golf course is very suitable for children, but unfortunately, it is quite expensive. In the morning, there are delicious rolls available.

Large place with many accommodation options. Located directly by the sea, separated only by a gravel road that unfortunately is quite busy, as it leads to a kindergarten. Thus, children are constantly being dropped off or picked up. The sanitary facilities were fine and the size of the place was adequate. The staff is really nice and accommodating.

Large, very professionally run CP. Large flat pitches, with electricity and water. There are different types of pitches. The sanitary area was clean. Hot water in the shower (5 kr for 3 min), washing up costs extra. Everything works with a code. Large shop with rolls and a good reception. Bistro and restaurant are together next to the golf course. Large public beach right at the CP, also with a dog beach. Due to the size, of course, a lot of activity, a bit louder in high season. You should only pay once you have finished everything (including the last toilet visit), as the code will then be blocked. Overall a nice place even if the price is a bit higher.

Large campsite, rather unsuitable for passing through. The price includes some amenities that are hardly used. Showers, hot water, electricity, etc. cost extra with a relatively high base price. After checking out, no use of the toilet is possible. In relation to the large campsite, there are only a few showers and toilets available.

Huge, not suitable for those seeking peace.

Highly professional managed campsite. Directly by the sea with opportunities for walking or swimming. Permanent pitch with green space next to it. Warm water costs 10 crowns for every 3 minutes, also for wash water. Very good campsite with very good and modern sanitary facilities. However, very expensive.

We were very satisfied at the campsite in Borsterhusen. The sanitary facilities were always clean and well-maintained. The beach was just a stone's throw away, and the area was ideal for exploring by bike. Our kids found it cool too; they did a lot of inline skating and played at the playground. Even when we had to have a stone removed from the knee, everyone was helpful and explained the way to the hospital in simple English. We felt very comfortable and would definitely go there again if we didn't want to see so many places.

Positive: quiet location, level and well-equipped pitches, clean sanitary facilities, close to the beach Negative: on the website, you always have the feeling that you are booking a bungalow even when you are only inquiring about a pitch. Booking by phone is nearly impossible as they are often unreachable. The site is very expensive
