Camping in Burgos

During our motorhome trip along the pilgrimage route through Spain, my husband, my son and I visited Burgos. We spent several hours exploring the large Gothic cathedral and the adjoining museum. Afterwards, we enjoyed delicious tapas in small bars nearby. We stayed overnight at the campsite in a recreational area outside the city. The camper is safe there, and the city centre can be reached in about 20 minutes by bus.

My tip: Around Easter, the city’s brotherhoods organise torchlight processions and ceremonial parades. Participants dressed in colourful robes with hoods carry large figures through the streets.
