It was wonderfully beautiful. Our children love the place because there were many other families with children and they never got bored. Yes, during the holiday it is louder there because of the children, but that comes with it, they are happy children. Similarly, the place is used by many dog owner

We visited the campsite on the recommendation of my sister, who is an enthusiastic water sports enthusiast. What can I say? 2 nights were planned, and it turned into 5. And we only left because the campsite unfortunately had already closed. A clear recommendation even for non-water sports enthusiast

The pitches are nice, but a bit too small for motorhomes or caravans that are 7.45m long, and not all pitches are equipped with water and sewage. Additionally, it is also very annoying that there is no internet connection available on the pitches, unless you buy a Wi-Fi card at the reception. I don'

I can wholeheartedly recommend this place. It has a great location, right by the beach, a calm, pleasant, family-friendly atmosphere, the staff is consistently friendly, and everything is very well-kept and clean. The sanitary facilities and pool, as well as the pitches, are in excellent condition.

Very nice campsite, very clean, and the sanitary facilities are constantly being cleaned. Our fresh water pump broke down; we reported our problem at the reception, and they made sure it was repaired the next day. Super, thank you very much!

Camping La Gaviota is located on the Gulf of Roses in the charming holiday resort of Sant Pere Pescador on the Costa Brava. It extends directly along the long natural beach and offers excellent conditions for water sports enthusiasts, nature lovers and holidays in the open air with the whole family.
Camping La Gaviota is only separated from the Mediterranean by a narrow canal. Family-run since 1973, the site has 150 pitches, twelve mobile homes for rent and six bungalows for rent on a 2.1 hectare site and is open from April to October. It is perfect for families with children, as not only the proximity to the sandy beach, but also the playground and an entertainment programme provide variety. The individual pitches are located on a flat meadow with numerous shady deciduous trees. The beach is only 50 metres away and can be reached via a dune area that stretches for 15 km along the coast. The idyllic campsite is hard to beat in terms of facilities: It boasts a heated outdoor pool and deckchairs for sunbathing. A recreation room with a pool table, table football and table tennis tables is ideal for socialising with like-minded people. Other amenities include massage services and several computers with internet connection and WiFi throughout the site. Those who want to leave the camper's kitchen cold on some days can choose between a pizzeria, a small restaurant and a snack bar right on the beach. The campsite's own supermarket sells groceries such as fresh fruit and vegetables every day and freshly baked bread rolls and croissants are available for breakfast from 8am. Pets are also welcome! Dogs are allowed to sweeten their owners' holidays in the high and low seasons.
Swimming and water sports facilities such as sailing, surfing or fishing directly at Camping La Gaviota are ideal for water lovers. A bike hire service on site makes it easy to explore the surrounding area on two wheels and a kitesurfing school offers courses, including stand-up paddleboarding. Minigolf, tennis and golf courses are also just a few kilometres away. Despite the entertainment on offer, such as Zumba, aqua aerobics, yoga and entertainment, the campsite has a pleasantly quiet atmosphere. The owner family is friendly and the staff also speak German. The sanitary facilities are cleaned several times a day. Excursions to the picturesque surroundings, such as the medieval town of Castelló d'Empúries, are well worthwhile. The Aiguamolls de L'Empordá Nature Park, one of the most important animal and plant reserves in the area, is also a must for nature lovers who want to spend their holiday in an idyllic location on a fantastic campsite.
