Site
Spacious, intricately designed and landscaped site on two terrain levels. Partly shaded by tall pine trees, partly divided by medium-sized deciduous trees, palm trees, and oleander bushes. Separate area for guests with dogs. Located between the sea and the road. Separated by disused railway line with underpass. Own helicopter landing pad.
Access to water
Approximately 400 m long and up to 20 m wide inclined sandy beach in front of a rock embankment. Access via several stairs. 200 m further, the beach is eroded, leaving only rocks behind. The sand is regularly replenished.
Special features on the campsite
Radios and TVs are not allowed outdoors. Separate parking for cars applies only to some of the rental accommodations.

Continue south on the N-340 for approximately 7 km. Take the signed exit at km 1137, still 700 m ahead. Railway underpass at entrance to the site 3.10 m high and 3 m wide, larger vehicles are allowed entry via the slightly distant truck entrance.

Gran Comfort - that sounds like a lot of space. According to the CP homepage of the site, it should be. Camping in the south of Catalonia
Camping La Torre del Sol is located in the south-west of Catalonia, just 120 kilometres west of Barcelona. From here, holidaymakers can quickly reach both the Mediterranean Sea and the nearby mountains of the Parque Natural de la Sierra de Montsant, which are ideal for long hikes. The small town of Mont-roig del Camp, which is home to almost 11,500 inhabitants, is also within walking distance. The municipality impresses with its cultural sights, such as the two churches, both of which are dedicated to St Michael the Archangel. The site covers a total area of 26 hectares with numerous pitches and rental accommodation. It is important to note that vehicles must not be longer than 7.5 metres. Camping La Torre del Sol is equipped with washing machines, tumble dryers and communal kitchens. There is also a large children's playground and a special entertainment programme for children, so that parents can also spend a few hours together. For sports enthusiasts, the resort offers tennis, mini golf and beach volleyball courts, archery and pony riding facilities as well as bike hire.
