Camping in Turckheim

This small wine village in Alsace has become very dear to me. My husband and I first came here with our motorhome on a recommendation. It offers a charming old town, excellent wine, inviting restaurants and beautiful hiking opportunities. Passing through one of the town gates, we enter picturesque cobblestone streets. The lovingly restored half-timbered houses in blue, pink, yellow and green are decorated with flowers. At the edge of the village, we stay overnight at a small campsite. There, storks walk along the paths. They should not be fed, so they stay healthy, but they still come very close.

My tip: Turckheim is an excellent starting point for visiting Colmar, just 7 kilometres away. You can reach it easily by bike or public transport.
