Weekend
Very good campsite for a short trip. Close to Colmar. Unfortunately, there are no facilities on the site, non-functioning Wi-Fi.

Always a pleasure
A very nicely located campsite, traversed by a watercourse. Turckheim and Cooperative de vin are within walking distance. Clean sanitary facilities, very friendly but somewhat chaotic reception. Reasonably large pitches, depending on the location street within earshot.

Good site for visiting Colmar
The beautifully located site is about 9 km from Colmar, which is easily reachable via bike paths. The nearby town of Türckheim is very pretty with good restaurants. The reception was friendly and professional even without a reservation late in the evening. Free choice of pitches on the beautiful gro… More

Better than expected
For me, the sanitation facilities are primarily important, and here they deserve a 2+. Why this campsite only has two and a half stars in the ADAC camping guide is a mystery to me. I almost fell for it and was about to look for another campsite.

Simply one of the best places in the area. We've certainly been there about 10 times now. Always happy to go back.

Very pleasant place to explore the region
A well-kept site without frills. View of vineyards and hills – just a few minutes on foot to the village of Turckhein. The nearby municipal recreational facility did not disturb. Functional, clean sanitary facilities. We made a stop here in mid-October during a round trip and extended our stay for 2… More

Good value for money
Beautiful place that is recommended. Clean sanitary facility that is regularly cleaned, but unfortunately, there are always campers who do not use toilet brushes. The operator is not at fault for that. When showering, one must plan a bit more time, as very little water flows. The bill must be paid u… More

Located directly on the Alsace Wine Route, Camping Le Médiéval promises a varied camping holiday for pleasure travellers, culture lovers and active nature lovers. The dog-friendly holiday village is surrounded by a picturesque landscape of mountains and valleys with lush green vineyards and an extensive network of cycle paths.
The family-run Le Médiéval campsite is located on the edge of the medieval village of Turckheim, whose pretty half-timbered houses and mighty town gates are best explored as part of the exciting night watchman's tour. The Fecht river flows leisurely beside the easily manageable site. A small stream runs through the centre of the campsite. The more than 100 pitches, divided by deciduous trees and flowering shrubs, offer travellers a great view of the surrounding vineyards. Four to six of the 100 square metre pitches share an electricity connection with 16 amp sockets. Most of the plots have their own fresh water and waste water pipes for added convenience. The modern wash house and a service station for caravans are located right by the entrance. The storks that regularly visit Camping Le Médiéval are very popular with guests. There is a playground for children and the adjacent leisure centre has sports facilities for tennis, football and table tennis. Around Turckheim, the Dragon Trail winds its way through a picturesque landscape of lush green or colourful vines, depending on the season. Along the themed trail, nine panels provide information about winegrowing in the region. The famous Alsace Wine Route is ideal for cycling tours with the whole family. Heading east, the panoramic route leads to the cultural city of Colmar, for example, which is around 8 kilometres away.
