Camping Domaine de Champé

The campsite is well-located for hiking enthusiasts, and the restaurant offers a delightful culinary experience. However, there's a noticeable lack of enthusiasm at the reception. You receive a map of the campsite, a pitch number, the code for the barrier, and you also have to pay the tourist tax, and that's about it. There are considerable differences in the size and quality of the pitches. The Wi-Fi did not work, and we were not informed about this. It is advisable to bring your own toilet paper, as it is a lottery to determine which one you can retrieve from the dispensers. Furthermore, there is nothing to dry your hands with. In the showers, there is neither a place for your soap nor any hairdryers. Simple amenities that are usually found in a good 3 or 4 star campsite are lacking in this very expensive 5 star one.

Swimming pool Site/ rental accommodation: Having a private bathroom on site is great if you can actually use it. After all, you've paid for it.

No Wi-Fi, children's activities were promised on the homepage but unfortunately there was nothing. Site/ rental accommodation: Unfortunately, it couldn't be used due to the cold temperatures. Understandable, but a compensation, such as a spa entrance, would have been nice.

The domain is very beautiful, everything is very well maintained. The staff is very nice; there is always a "hello." The wellness area is wonderful. Location/Rental accommodation: The stay is very spacious. With six of us, we had plenty of room. It is very well-equipped, and having a fireplace in the evening was a very pleasant experience. The bedding is comfortable.

Very beautiful Cabane with all amenities. It is worth mentioning on their website what is included in the Cabane (especially the kitchen) as well as how many hand and bath towels are provided. Campsite/Rental accommodation: very good

I also mentioned upon departure: behind Cabane Ingrid, next to the sanitary building, there is a lot of noise that robs you of sleep.... very unpleasant; could it be that a pump is running in cold temperatures?

We were warmly welcomed by Jean-Mi, Ingrid, and the entire staff, who took great care of us from arrival to departure. The enchanting site is worthy of a Christmas magic. The refined, delicious cuisine is at the level of 5 stars and even beyond. The impeccable service is top-notch. The breakfast baskets are carefully prepared and brought by two charming ladies of great kindness. Location/Accommodation: A breathtaking charm both inside and out. Ingrid's cabin is decorated with great taste, delicacy, and a very cozy atmosphere. It is designed with high-quality materials and equipment, and exhibits exemplary cleanliness.
