Camping in Schoorl

Near the Noordzee there’s a small village surrounded by dunes and pine trees. Schoorl is a buzzing little village accessible by car, bus and of course by bike. In the center of the town you will find a big dune called the Klimduin (translated: climbing dune). At the foot of this hill lays the central square which is surrounded by various cafes and restaurants serving refreshments and sandwiches in summer time and hot drinks and comforting food to keep you warm in winter. The restaurants are open all year round since the village is a highlight for tourists in both the summer and winter season. Multiple hiking and biking trails are available. Don’t worry if you don’t have a bike, you can simply rent one. At the beach you can relax or choose a sport activity such as wind- or kitesurfing. Schoorl is an ideal starting point if you want to visit other towns in the area like Bergen (aan Zee), Egmond aan Zee or Alkmaar.
