I was very disappointed with this "5-star campsite". The playgrounds were in a shocking state. There was litter everywhere, which was not only unsightly but also dangerous for the children who wanted to play there. It seemed that the cleaning and maintenance of the playgrounds had been completely neglected. The kitchen was also in a disastrous condition. The work surfaces were dirty and there were no signs that regular cleaning was taking place. The hygienic conditions were so poor that I had concerns about eating there. It was obvious that cleanliness was not a priority here. When I pointed out these issues to the staff, I was treated very unfriendly. The supermarket is a small shelf with overpriced items. The path to the beach is not a continuous footpath! The sanitary facilities were dirty.

A beautiful and well-maintained campsite. Clean sanitation facilities, friendly staff. The gorgeous beach of Petten is easily accessible by bike or on foot. One small downside, for the fifth star the toilets should be equipped with soap.

We were there for a weekend and will definitely go back. Everything is very clean and tidy. The scenic location of the facility is beautiful. Dunes and beach are within walking distance. Many excursion destinations are easily reachable nearby.
