Village Camping Joker

The closeness to the beach was great, but the cleanliness leaves something to be desired.

Actually, it's a nice spot, located directly by the sea. The staff is also very friendly. But the showers are totally clogged, the water and dirt remain in the shower basin and you can only shower with shoes on. Some shower cabins can no longer be locked and have not been repaired either. The whole facility is already very old!!!!!. The fence around the hot tub is completely broken, risk of injury!!!!. There are no showers at the beach. How this place received four stars from the ADAC is a mystery to me!!!!!.

Well-kept small site directly on the beach. Mostly shady, only a few pitches near the beach are rather sunny. New sanitary facilities in the western area, older facilities in the central area, but still good. The pool is a few years old, but still fine. Whirlpool and paddling pool with slide for the little ones. Of course, it’s not a water park like Union Lido, but for us (11+57 years) it’s sufficient. There is also a bouncy castle, table football, table tennis, etc. for the kids, everything is on a smaller scale. The relatively low-threshold animation program (mini club for the little ones, music for teenagers at 8 PM, live music for adults at 9 PM) I found very pleasant. Those who need "Ballermann" and/or a huge water park are in the wrong place, this small site cannot offer that. If you prefer something quieter, this is the right place. We will definitely come back.

With a few negative prejudices we read in the reviews, we arrived at the Joker. However, upon arrival, we found that these were no longer completely current. Well, yes, it has aged, that is especially noticeable at the pool. However, the toilets and washrooms have been completely renewed. At least those on our side. The others were indeed much older. But from what we learned from other campers who are there frequently, these are now being renewed gradually. Those expecting a luxury spot are in the wrong place. However, those who say, I want to camp without much fuss, are absolutely in the right place here. We especially liked the short distances to the toilet, to the beach, etc. We are a family with 2 children (8 and 12 years old) and for us it was perfect. The staff are super helpful. When we arrived, for example, the gardener immediately pushed the cart into the pitch. They make an effort to keep the place clean from leaves, etc. So in short, we will definitely come back and cannot understand the negative reviews.

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this place further. The entire staff, from the executives down to the cleaning lady, do not know how to greet, and the place and the sanitary facilities look about the same. On top of that, there are the horrendous prices, the restaurant is bad, never again at this place. The only positive thing is that it is well located!

A campsite like one knows from earlier! Very small, but you have everything you need for vacation and that within very short distances! The swimming pool is not the highlight! But there is the sea with a beautiful sandy beach! The washhouse is also clean!

Don't rely on what they tell you at the reception. Demand everything in writing, they can't/won't remember it later. If you go there: WATCH OUT
