Vakantiepark Capfun De Pekelinge

Used to be a very good place but has declined significantly after the change of operators. The price/performance ratio at the campsite with private sanitary facilities is poor - bad, unsuitable equipment - no cleaning during the stay.

We were there in 2020 on the recommendation of acquaintances, everything was well organized despite Corona. The site and the sanitary facilities were clean and well maintained. We then booked directly on site for this year. In this year 2021 we were next to a never-ending pool construction site (from about 6:30 AM). The hedges were trimmed partially without reason or sense over several days. The sanitary facilities were partially dirty and were cleaned during peak times from about 8:00 AM to about 10:00 AM. Furthermore, children were allowed to enter the swimming pool without the accompaniment of a legal guardian without prior registration starting on July 10th, which led to partial overcrowding with uncontrolled behavior from the unsupervised children. From then on, we rarely went there with our children. At times when the incidence rates were around 400 in the Netherlands, this is irresponsible. We are waiting to see if CapFun as the new operator will manage it at some point. Since we also could not rebook?!? we will go somewhere else next year. It's a shame, as last year was really nice.

As we wanted to redeem our voucher from 2020 this year during Easter, but did not want or could not travel due to the current situation, Pekeling refunded the full amount. We will certainly book this campsite again. Family Siebert and Fink

A beautifully located campsite with everything you need: swimming pool, indoor playground, private sanitary cabin, animal enclosure, various playgrounds, and so much more, simply dreamy!!

Always a nice atmosphere, calm due to individual pitch areas. Nice with a playground "at the doorstep." Close to the beach, beautiful surroundings, many leisure options also for older children!

Great facilities, especially for families. Our daughter had a lot of fun on the pump track, in the swimming pool, and especially with the water slide and the outdoor playground. The pitches are nice and large and the amenities are top-notch. We will come back.

Children are considered number 1, comprehensive and extremely varied animation, swimming pool with slide, climbing park, kids club, soccer field, bouncy castles, tennis courts, mountain bike track, play areas spread throughout the site. The site is completely fenced, no one can just come in or out. Restaurant is available. Supermarkets on site.

The place is super clean, great for kids and adults alike. The WiFi could be a bit better in the private bathrooms.
