Nestled in an idyllic landscape of rolling hills and deep forests, First Camp Sunne - Fryksdalen on the shores of Lake Fryken in Värmland promises pure water fun in the west of Sweden. The large Sunne Sommarland water park is located right next to the family-friendly campsite with cabins and a meadow area for caravans and motorhomes. Various pool areas, wild slides and a gently meandering current channel will delight young and old alike. The campsite has a sandy beach for sunbathing and a wide range of leisure activities such as adventure golf, tennis, bowling and beach volleyball. Fitness courses and an off-road mountain bike course also provide plenty of exercise. Hikes and a visit to Mårbacka, the birthplace of the famous writer Selma Lagerlöf, are ideal for slowing down.

We were at the site in mid-October, very nice reception and clean facilities (the family cabins were open for use). However, we were also the only short-term campers. The spot by the lake with a short walk into town. We would definitely stay there again.
